Ya ha transcurrido un mes desde la operación del retiro del soporte de metal del brazo de Lucia, el tiempo pasó volando y mi bebé día a día va recuperando la salud en su huesito, este día fuimos por la revisión con su traumatólogo para ver los avances y atender sus nuevas recomendaciones, así que hoy les comparto esta experiencia!
Hi Motherhood Community 💫 It's been a month since the operation to remove the metal support from Lucia's arm, time flew by and my baby is recovering the health of her bones day by day, this day we went for the review with her traumatologist to see the progress and follow his new recommendations, so today I share this experience with you!
Para está revisión post operatoria debíamos llevar una radiografía del antebrazo de Lucia, ya ha tenido que hacerse muchos rayos X así que conoce el procedimiento y sabe la importancia de no moverse mientras le toman la imagen, en esta ocasión pidieron la radiografía en 2 proyecciones una frontal y otra lateral, tomamos la placa y posteriormente subimos al consultorio de la traumatólogo que está en el mismo centro médico para la revisión general de las imágenes y también de la cicatriz del brazo.
For this post-operative review we had to take an x-ray of Lucia's forearm, she has already had many x-rays so she knows the procedure and knows the importance of not moving while the image is taken, on this occasion they asked for the x-ray in 2 projections, one frontal and one lateral, we took the plate and then went up to the office of the traumatologist who is in the same medical center for the general review of the images and also of the scar on the arm.
Esperamos aproximadamente media hora que saliera un paciente y luego fue nuestro turno, la traumatóloga reviso la radiografía y nos dijo que el hueso estaba muy recuperado, ya se formó el cayo que une la fractura y la misma está casi invisible, eso quiere decir que el hueso está sanando satisfactoriamente gracias a Dios. Luego la doctora empezó a revisar la movilidad del brazo que ya es normal y también la cicatriz de Lucia, ahora resulta que la cicatriz tuvo una adherencia al tejido del tendón, osea cicatrizó hacia adentro la piel por lo que tuvo que realizar un procedimiento ambulatorio para despegar este tejido y le mando unos masajes en esa zona para evitar que vuelva a adherirse, el proceso fue un tanto fuerte sobretodo para Lucia porque habían agujas, anestesia local y bueno aunque estaba nerviosa se portó como una campeona, es muy valiente mi princesa, sinceramente su fortaleza es admirable y doy gracias a Dios por esa cualidad en ella.
We waited about half an hour for a patient to come out and then it was our turn, the traumatologist reviewed the x-ray and told us that the bone was very well recovered, the key that joins the fracture has already formed and the fracture is almost invisible, that means that the bone is healing satisfactorily, thank God. Then the doctor started to check the mobility of the arm which is now normal and also Lucia's scar, now it turns out that the scar had an adhesion to the tendon tissue, that is to say, the skin healed inwards, so she had to perform an outpatient procedure to detach this tissue and massage the area to prevent it from adhering again, The process was a bit hard especially for Lucia because there were needles, local anesthesia and well although she was nervous she behaved like a champion, she is very brave my princess, sincerely her strength is admirable and I thank God for that quality in her.
La doctora nos recomendó estar pendiente de la cicatriz y de hacer los masajes, le mando un antiinflamatorio solo por ese día ya que la zona podía inflamarse debido al procedimiento que le hicieron, en un mes nuevamente tenemos la revisión para ver si finalmente le dan el alta medica.
Mi bebé ha pasado por muchas cosas fuertes a consecuencia de esta fractura, primero la ruptura completa del hueso, luego la colocación del soporte metálico y ahora esto de su cicatriz, gracias a Dios paso a paso ha ido recuperándose y seguimos confiando en que muy pronto Dios sanara su bracito por completo para que ella vuelva a su vida y actividades normales, sin miedo y con la alegría que la caracteriza!
The doctor recommended us to be aware of the scar and to do the massages, she gave her an anti-inflammatory just for that day since the area could become inflamed due to the procedure that was done, in a month we have the check up again to see if she is finally discharged from the hospital. My baby has gone through many hard things as a result of this fracture, first the complete breakage of the bone, then the placement of the metal support and now her scar, thanks to God, step by step she has been recovering and we continue trusting that very soon God will heal her little arm completely so that she can return to her life and normal activities, without fear and with the joy that characterizes her!
El camino con esta recuperación ha sido largo y difícil tanto para Lucia como para nosotros, sin embargo nunca hemos perdido la esperanza y FE en Dios de que su brazo sanara pronto y que esto será solo un mal recuerdo con un aprendizaje para todos, mientras tanto seguimos apoyando a mi bebé en todo lo referente a su salud de la mano de Dios y como siempre fue un placer compatir nuestras experiencias con ustedes! 💞 Gracias por leerme! 😃 Hasta muy pronto! 💫
The road with this recovery has been long and difficult for both Lucia and us, however we have never lost hope and FAITH in God that her arm will heal soon and that this will be just a bad memory with a learning for everyone, meanwhile we continue to support my baby in everything related to her health from the hand of God and as always it was a pleasure to share our experiences with you! 💞 Thank you for reading me! 😃 See you very soon! 💫
