Hive and Hive Engine Power Up Day November 2024

Hey Hivers,

Hope y'all are doing good! Last month, I did my usual Power Up, got my PUM badge, and I prepared most of the data for an account update, but once again I waited so long before finalizing my HPUD post that it was just too late. A PUD post 3 weeks into the month makes no sense I guess. It's been happening often this year. But not this time! Just like I used to do every month so consistently before, let's take this opportunity for a detailed review of my account growth and performance, as well as my goals and targets.

HIVE

We'll start with Hive of course. In spite of using the 100% Powered Up option for most of my posts (the main reason is to go after the PUM badge), I was able to accumulate a bit more HBD than usual. And with the relatively low Hive price, it was a good time to convert them. So, today I powered up slightly more than my usual, and went with 16.666HP. Still quite small of course, but I want to keep some liquid Hive for the next couple of months at least.

I also increased slightly the amount I pushed to HBD savings. Still symbolic but it's better than nothing I guess. It also triggered the interest, a little over 2 HBD... Yes, I know, in the country I live, it's basically nothing, but it's a start!

As for the account growth, it was pretty good this month. Consistent and steady once again, but the slope was slightly steeper. Starting with 6226HP, I was able to add 180HP to reach 6406HP. I believe the last time I fixed a target, it was 4.5HP a day, we're easily above that, yay!!

And finally, adding today's Power Up, we reached the final total of 6422HP for an overall increase of 196HP in October, my best in a very long time!

SPORTS

I think I mentioned it last time but the SPORTS growth slowed down a bit for me, and I reduced my target to 300k a month. It was reached both last month and this one with about 360k added to my stake, it was better. I saw a few people were trying to change things with the tribe, but I admit I didn't follow. With my SPORTS stake closing in on 21M, I should probably pay more attention.

ALIVE

With its main leader missing, the We Are Alive tribe still seems a bit dormant, even though some people, especially the #AliveAndThriving team, are trying to keep it alive (no pun intended). I stay hopeful it will resume like before and I keep staking everything I can. Adding about 719AP to my stake in October, it was just above my increased target (700AP added monthly)

PHOTO

Like I mentioned last time, setting a target for PHOTO is always difficult for me, as my performance used to be quite inconsistent. It still varies but it's been above 2000 (my increased target) the past 4 months.

LOLZ

My LOLZ performance can also be inconsistent. But I added several delegations, and it's doing quite well at the moment. In fact, with about 850 added to my stake in October, it was almost 4 times my target! We'll revise this target for sure.

Targets

• For Hive, it will be challenging, but I think it's time to raise my target to 5HP added to my stake daily.
• It's still a bit slow for SPORTS, but let's see if we can get a little bit more this month with 350k
• I think we'll keep the 700AP monthly target for ALIVE. It's challenging enough for now
• Same for PHOTO, let's keep the target at 2000 monthly. One more good month and maybe we'll revise it
• For LOLZ though, we need to increase the target. With my current delegations, I think between 750 and 800 added monthly is a good target.
• Even though I keep staking a few other tokens, I don't have any targets yet. Same for diesel pools, I just a little bit here and there for now.

And that is it. It was a pretty good month, with most of the target reached, and easily beaten in some cases. The growth is steady but getting slightly faster. Let's keep this trend in November!
