Chasing AC/DC Shadows - SMASh Contest Round 374

Hey Shadow Hunters,
As some of you might have noticed, attending live music events is one of my favorite activities. For many years, long before I heard about Hive and its Shadow Hunters community, I always thought all the light sources created beautiful shadows. Of course, capturing them in photos was another thing. Taking photos during concerts was never a priority, especially when you're in the pit, or on the contrary too far. Well, it has changed a bit with the crazy improvement in cell phone cameras, especially for low light conditions. Now I admit I do tend to snap lots of photos. And sometimes, shadows turn up pretty cool.
A couple weeks ago, we had the chance to be at AC/DC concert in Detroit Ford Field. For this kind of legendary band in huge venues, unless you're willing to shell out several hundred dollars, you can end up pretty far from the stage. That was the case this time, we were pretty much at the very top of the stadium. I'm not complaining, the show was great, the acoustics all the way to the back where we were was flawless, and we enjoyed it a lot. And as a bonus, it gave me a chance to focus on a few shadows. Here are some of my favorites.
I'll start with this one as it shows the whole band and shadows in various directions: on the stage but also on the amp wall behind them. And I guess it will be my entry for the contest.

Let's zoom in on Brian Johnson and Angus Young, and of course their shadows.

I was talking about the improvement in cameras, but on these next few ones, you can see it failed to capture the faces well, but the shadows are really sharp. That's pretty interesting.

Another one with shadows coming from different directions.

This is a great example of a blurry subject with a sharp shadow.

And a few more with various background colors

Well, I realize that wasn't my best photographic work, lots of blurriness, but we were just too far to hope for much better. However, I really liked how some of the shadows turned up. I hope you like them too!
I'll finish with the usual disclaimer: all photos were taken with my cell phone (for those who like details, it's a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra) and sometimes slightly enhanced using Snapseed.
Happy Shadow Hunting!
Great...good luck 👍
