And yet HIVE does such a shitty job in marketing, literally any crypto person I talk to has never heard of HIVE.
The Steem collapse I think did a lot of damage.
It was not a collapse. It was a community hardfork, against a hostile takeover. This is unique and has never been done in blockchain history. Yet nobody knows about HIVE
Short-hand. Steem, after the takeover, did slowly trend to obscurity. I would call that a collapse.
Hive is the heart and soul of Steem (plus more).
This is because ever decent marketing proposal has been voted down in the DHF, like marketing on Brave browser, but nope, the whales don’t want it to grow. But we can have and pay for the fucking stupid rally car and driver team… Like seriously, WTF? That care hasn’t brought in a single new user.
I totally agree. The fun thing is if you give me a budget of 150k a year I have a decent income and market the shit out of HIVE. I work in the advertising industry. I know how to do it. I could just have HIVE as 1 client and we would see growth that has never been there before. This budget is smaller than most shit we pay for through the DHF. If you pump it up to a million a year we can have a 2-3k daily ad budget. That reaches a lot of people over traditional social media.
150K is a decent income? I would say that's a pretty damn good income, lol.
Well that also would include a 200$budget per day for ads
which is great to get a good audience, I would even provide the receipts. I can not do the work for free lol also gotta pay taxes

well yeah it is hard but at least there is way to have it you know. It is not banned and I can declare it as income. So yeah that way you pay income tax and social security.
You gotta do you boo! I don't go out into dollars anymore so I am not dealing with those implications. I use businesses directly that accept it when possible and or buy gift cards. No KYC, no taxes, and I get literally everything I need.
Yeah for some things I still gotta go into FIAT, but where I can I use gift cards or prepaid VISA via bitrefill.
