ENGLISH.

In the face of adversity, moving forward is the mission.

I have always thought that things happen to grow and strengthen us much more, there is no situation to which we should surrender, on the contrary, we must continue in the face of adversities that may arise in life and in the daily life of daily things.

At the beginning of last week my eldest son Manuel Alejandro Andrade, 8 years old, was affected by the virus that is circulating in the environment which is associated with vomiting, diarrhea, fever and general malaise, however starting this week he already felt better, he attended his school and his musical activities with the spirit and drive that characterizes him.

On Tuesday he had to play sports at school and plant a bush regarding extra-academic activities at school, seeking to raise awareness about caring for the environment in view of the vegetation fires that have spread throughout the territory of the Juan German Municipality. Roscio Nieves. Everything was going well until at 10:00 am they called me from school to tell me that Manuelito felt bad that I was going to pick him up, so I went to school for him and assumed that the discomfort was a product of the virus that affected him. last week.

However, when we got into the car, he told me that he had difficulty breathing. As a precaution, I took him to Social Security where my wife was working at the time so that he could consult with a pediatrician colleague about the condition he was experiencing. The pediatrician examined him and referred him to a doctor specializing in otorhinolaryngology to examine and rule out any involvement in the respiratory system.

On Wednesday we went to the specialist doctor, where in a first contact he examined and ordered X-ray exams to be carried out to be able to give a diagnosis since he was able to notice some pathologies but there was no security until he could see the exams. Evidently concern was already growing.

That same day in the afternoon they performed the It is necessary to perform surgery to correct the deviation of the turbinates and then another surgery to correct the nasal septum.
I have to take a deep breath since it is not easy for one to know that a child must go through surgery and even more so for him because of the difficulty breathing, however, in his innocence he tells me:

"Dad, calm down, everything is going to turn out well, I'm going to behave well so that everything turns out well."

Wrapping myself in those positive energies of his words, I continued breathing deeply and remembered some words that always accompany me in every rescue task carried out as a firefighter, which is:

"In the face of adversity, moving forward is the mission."

Trusting in God that everything will turn out well, although as a parent it is not easy to know or digest that a child must undergo an operation and even more so for him who is so small and innocent. Music classes will have to stop for a moment until you are 100%, God has the perfect clock for all things.

In the coming weeks the surgery must be planned, for now he must undergo treatment to reduce inflammation and be able to breathe a little better, the important thing for everyone is that he always shows good fitness and a big smile in the face of any adversity.
