Shadow Hunters Community Contest SMASh - Round 396
A few days ago, while walking in the afternoon, shortly before dusk, I noticed how absurdly long my shadow looked on the ground, as if I were on stilts, as was customary in circus performances in the past.
I then decided to stand on different types of pavement to observe my own shadow on different surfaces and see if this could affect it in any way, particularly its tone, intensity, or sharpness.
As I have described before, I usually make use of the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed, in order to improve or highlight some element of my images.

Hace unos días atrás, mientras caminaba en horas de la tarde, poco antes del anochecer, observé como mi sombra se veía absurdamente larga en el suelo, como si estuviese zancos tal como se acostumbraba anteriormente en las funciones de los circos.
Decidí entonces, ubicarme en distintos tipos de pavimentos para contemplar mi propia sombra en diferentes superficies, y si esto podía afectarla o no, particularmente su tonalidad, intensidad o nitidez.
Como he descrito anteriormente, usualmente hago uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed, con el objetivo de mejorar o destacar algún elemento de mis imágenes.
