This past Sunday, I traveled to the beach with my sister and my mother, and although the intention was to attend a personal matter of my sister on Monday morning before returning home, we took the opportunity to rest and swim in the pool of the condominium where we arrived.

For various reasons, I had a long time without traveling, inside or outside the country, so this brief trip to Tucacas, a coastal town located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea and is the gateway to Morrocoy National Park, one of the major tourist destinations in the country, served me to disconnect from everyday life and allowed me to distract myself in an environment of abundant sunshine, unlike what has been the rainy weather in recent weeks in my city.

As usual, I did not waste the opportunity to take a plentiful ration of photographs, among which stand out those of this extendable chair for sunbathing, located in the surroundings of the pool, and of the shadow it cast on the floor.

As I have described in previous posts, I usually make use of the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed, with the aim of improving or highlighting some element of my images.

Este pasado Domingo, viajé a la playa acompañado de mi hermana y mi madre, y aunque en realidad la intención era atender un asunto personal de mi hermana en horas de la mañana del Lunes antes de retornar nuevamente a nuestros hogares; aprovechamos para descansar y bañarnos en la piscina del condominio donde llegamos.

Por diversos motivos, tenía bastante tiempo sin viajar, dentro o fuera del país, por lo que este breve paseo a Tucacas, una población costera ubicada a orillas del Mar Caribe y que es la puerta de entrada al Parque Nacional Morrocoy, uno de los mayores destinos turísticos del país; me sirvió para desconectarme de la cotidianidad y me permitió distraerme en un ambiente de abundante sol, a diferencia de lo que ha sido el clima lluvioso en las últimas semanas en mi ciudad.

Como es usual, no desperdicié la ocasión para tomar una abundante ración de fotografías, entre las que destacan las de esta silla extensible para tomar el sol, ubicada en los alrededores de la piscina, y de la sombra que proyectaba sobre el piso.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, usualmente hago uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed, con el objetivo de mejorar o destacar algún elemento de mis imágenes.
