After the storm comes the calm, is an old saying that we have probably all heard or read at some point in our lives, and after cloudy days and constant rains, finally yesterday, Sunday, the sun was present in the firmament of the city.

Around noon, I left the apartment to walk to a beautiful park located a short distance from home, where I usually go some weekends to relax and distract myself when the weather allows me to do so.

After a couple of hours in the park, I decided to return home to prepare lunch, and while I was walking, I found a few meters from the building, this curious geometrical figure on the sidewalk, product of the shadow generated by the metal bars of the fence that separates a small shopping center from the avenue.

I think it is not necessary to describe the sensation that this figure awakened in me, to the point that I took my phone to capture some images of what my eyes were witnessing.

As I have described in previous posts, I usually make use of the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed, with the aim of improving or highlighting some element of my images.

Después de la tempestad viene la calma, es un viejo dicho que probablemente todos hemos escuchado o leído en algún momento de nuestras vidas, y es que luego de días nublados y lluvias constantes, finalmente ayer domingo, el sol se hizo presente en el firmamento de la ciudad.

Cerca del mediodía, salí del apartamento para dirigirme caminando a un hermoso parque ubicado a corta distancia de casa, al que suelo acudir algunos fines de semana para relajarme y distraerme cuando el clima me lo permite.

Luego de estar un par de horas en el parque, decidí regresar a casa para preparar el almuerzo, y mientras caminaba, encontré a pocos metros del edificio, esta curiosa figura geométrica plasmada en la acera, producto de la sombra generada por las rejas metálicas de la cerca que separa a un pequeño centro comercial, de la avenida.

Creo que no es necesario describir la sensación que despertó en mí esta figura, al punto tal, que tomé mi teléfono para capturar algunas imágenes de lo que presenciaban mis ojos.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, usualmente hago uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed, con el objetivo de mejorar o destacar algún elemento de mis imágenes.
