PhotoFeed Contest - Street Photography Round 133: Multitude [ENG/ESP]

Multitude
These photos belonging to my personal archive, I took them last January 14, date on which and since 1856, takes place in the city of Barquisimeto, a massive religious procession that usually concentrates just under three million people, both from other parts and regions of the country and abroad, and of which, there is a very extensive audiovisual and photographic record on the Internet.
As I have described in countless previous posts, this activity involves the journey on the shoulders of the parishioners, the sacred image of the Divine Shepherdess (Divina Pastora) through the streets and avenues of the city, until it arrives at the Metropolitan Cathedral after its departure a few hours before its home in the nearby town of Santa Rosa.
Before her arrival, which is usually scheduled between 5 and 6 in the afternoon, tens of thousands of people of all ages and social conditions, gather around the temple, under the hot and intense sun that usually characterizes that day, after a long and exhausting walk of 7.5 kilometers, although not all of us travel that distance but we join in some part of the procession.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Multitud
Estas fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, las tomé el pasado 14 de Enero, fecha en la cual y desde el año 1856, se realiza en la ciudad de Barquisimeto, una multitudinaria procesión religiosa que suele concentrar poco menos de unas tres millones de personas, tanto de otras partes y regiones del país como del extranjero, y de la cual, existe un amplísimo registro audiovisual y fotográfico en internet.
Como he descrito en infinidad de posts anteriores, esta actividad comprende el recorrido en hombros de los feligreses, de la sagrada imagen de la Divina Pastora a través de las calles y avenidas de la ciudad, hasta llegar a la Catedral Metropolitana luego de su partida unas horas antes de su hogar en la cercana población de Santa Rosa.
Antes de su llegada, la cual suele estar prevista entre las 5 y la 6 de la tarde, decenas de miles de personas de todas las edades y condiciones sociales, se concentran en los alrededores del templo, bajo el caluroso e intenso sol que suele caracterizar ese día, luego de una larga y agotadora caminata de 7,5 kilómetros, aunque no todos recorremos esa distancia sinó que nos incorporamos en algún tramo de la procesión.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
