Night is the period from sunset to sunrise the next day. It is the time when daylight is absent.

The length of night varies throughout the year, with the shortest occurring at the summer solstice and the longest at the winter solstice.

In popular culture, night is often the chosen setting for stories of fear and terror, as night is often associated with danger, criminals, dangerous animals or monstrous creatures hiding behind the darkness. However, nowadays, night is also associated with fun and entertainment.

This pair of photos from my personal archive were taken many years ago during a weekend night out with a group of co-workers at the time.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

La noche es el periodo que va desde el ocaso del sol hasta el amanecer del día siguiente. Es el tiempo en que falta la claridad del día.

La duración de la noche varía a lo largo del año, siendo la más corta cuando ocurre el el solsticio de verano, mientras que la más larga tiene lugar con el solsticio de invierno.

En la cultura popular, la noche suele ser el escenario elegido para las historias de miedo y terror, ya que se suele asociar la noche con el peligro, los delincuentes, los animales peligrosos o las criaturas monstruosas que se ocultan tras la oscuridad. Sin embargo, en la actualidad, la noche también está relacionada con la diversión y el entretenimiento.

Este par de fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, las tomé muchos años atrás durante una salida nocturna de fin de semana con un grupo de compañeros de trabajo de aquel entonces.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
