Art is a very broad concept that describes all creations made by human beings to express, through the use of plastic, linguistic or sound resources, a sensitive vision of the world, whether real or imaginary, seeking to express ideas, emotions and sensations.

In ancient times, art had a ritual and magical-religious function, which changed over time. Anyway, the definition of art varies according to the time and culture.

This pair of photos that I share in this post were taken a few years ago in a small public park located next to Libertador Avenue in the city of Barquisimeto, where the municipal authorities installed a sculpture of a female figure wearing some musical notes on her colorful dress.

As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.

El arte es un concepto muy amplio que describe todas las creaciones realizadas por el ser humano para expresar, mediante el uso de recursos plásticos, lingüísticos o sonoro, una visión sensible acerca del mundo, bien sea éste real o imaginario, buscando expresar ideas, emociones y sensaciones.

En la antiguedad, el arte tenía una función ritual y mágico-religiosa, que con el transcurso del tiempo fue cambiando. De todas formas, la definición de arte varía de acuerdo a la época y a la cultura.

Este par de fotos que comparto en este post, las tomé unos años atrás en un pequeño parque público denominado ubicado a un costado de la Av. Libertador de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, donde las autoridades municipales instalaron la escultura de una figura femenina que lleva algunas notas musicales en su colorido vestido.

Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
