Contrast
Contrast is the action and effect of showing the opposite conditions or marked differences that exist between things or people. Therefore, contrasting is the opposite or counterpoint.
Visually, contrast refers to the scarcity of intermediate tones in an image, so that light and dark are clearly highlighted.
This pair of photos from my personal archive show a creeping daisy, a shrub characterized by its tiny, bright yellow flowers.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Contraste
Contraste es la acción y el efecto de mostrar las condiciones opuestas o diferencias marcadas que existen entre cosas o personas. Por lo tanto, contrastar es lo opuesto o contrapuesto.
En el aspecto visual, el contraste hace referencia a la escasez de tonos intermedios en una imagen, de forma que resalta con notoriedad lo claro y lo oscuro.
Este par de fotos pertenecientes a mi archivo personal, corresponden a una margarita rastrera, un arbusto que se caracteriza por sus diminutas flores de un intenso color amarillo.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
