Music in worship is a fundamental spiritual tool in Catholicism, and in Christianity in general, serving to connect with God, express our adoration, and unite the community. Beyond mere entertainment, music promotes genuine participation among the faithful.
During the recent procession of the Holy Image of the Divine Shepherdess through the streets and avenues of Barquisimeto on January 14, various musical groups were present on the multiple stages set up along the more than 7 kilometers of the route from the town of Santa Rosa to the city's cathedral.
Not only religious music has a place on that day, but also various traditional Venezuelan genres participate in the praise and encourage all participants.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Alabanza
La música en la alabanza es una herramienta espiritual fundamental en el catolicismo, y en el cristianismo en general, cumpliendo la función de conectar con Dios, expresar nuestra adoración y unir a la comunidad, más allá del mero entretenimiento, la música permite promover la participación genuina de los fieles.
Durante la reciente de la Sagrada imagen de la Divina Pastora por las calles y avenidas de Barquisimeto, el pasado 14 de Enero, diversas agrupaciones musicales estuvieron presentes en las múltiples tarimas desplegadas a lo largo de los mas de 7 kilómetros de recorrido desde la población de Santa Rosa hasta la Catedral de la ciudad.
No solo la música religiosa tiene cabida ese día, también diversos géneros tradicionales venezolanos participan en la alabanza, y además, animan a todos los participantes.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
