Beach Life
Last weekend, I traveled with my sister and our mother to Tucacas, a coastal town located in the northwestern region of Venezuela.
Although we were only there for a short time and the purpose of our trip was not tourism or relaxation, but rather to attend to some work matters, we took advantage of our short stay at the beach to sunbathe and swim in the pools of the residential complex where we were staying, which at that time did not have many guests, as is usually the case during the holiday season.
Tucacas is located within Morrocoy National Park, a special area under environmental protection that contains both land and water areas within its boundaries. It is not only one of the country's major tourist destinations, but also one of the most popular in the entire Caribbean region.

Coincidentally, this weekend marks the start of Carnival, a festival that is hugely important around the world, particularly in Venice, Italy, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where parades and dances are traditional. It is also celebrated in other countries such as Colombia, Spain, Bolivia, and even France and Germany.
In Venezuela, although there are towns, particularly in the east and south of the country, that usually hold parades with floats and dance troupes at this time of year, many people tend to take advantage of these days off to visit the beaches, so Tucacas and its surroundings are sure to welcome thousands of people looking to enjoy the beautiful, warm beaches that this earthly paradise has to offer.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
