My Entry to the Friendlymoose Photo Contest - Architecture [ENG/ESP]

Architecture
Architecture can be defined as the art and technique of designing and constructing buildings and public spaces. In other words, architecture is responsible for modifying and altering the physical environment to meet the diverse needs of human beings.
A few months ago, I was in Tucacas, a Venezuelan town located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea that is very popular with local and foreign tourists for its beautiful, warm waters, which have made it an ideal destination for vacations, which in Venezuela, due to its location in the tropics, tend to be a large part of the year.
Next to the residential complex where I was staying during those days, there is another complex that has always caught my attention because of its architectural design.
This building is about 17 or 18 stories high and has a stepped shape descending towards the marina and the sea, with cantilevered balconies on one side of the structure overlooking the green areas and swimming pools of the complex where I stayed, and the facade covered to prevent erosion by the aggressive marine environment that characterizes coastal towns.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.
Arquitectura
La arquitectura puede definirse como el arte y la técnica de proyectar y construir edificaciones y espacios públicos. En otras palabras, la arquitectura se encarga de modificar y alterar el ambiente físico para satisfacer las diversas necesidades del ser humano.
Hace algunos meses atrás, estuve en Tucacas, una población venezolana ubicada a orillas del Mar Caribe que goza de gran popularidad entre turistas locales y foráneos, por sus hermosas y cálidas aguas, que lo han convertido en un destino ideal para las temporadas vacacionales, las cuales en Venezuela por su ubicación en el trópico, suele ser gran parte del año.
A un lado del conjunto residencial donde estuve alojado esos días, se encuentra tambíen otro conjunto, que desde siempre me ha llamado la atención por su diseño arquitectónico.
Esta edificación cuenta con unos 17 o 18 pisos de altura, y presenta una forma escalonada descendente en dirección a la marina y el mar, con los balcones en voladizo a un costado de la estructura con vista a las áreas verdes y piscinas del conjunto donde me alojé, y la fachada recubierta para evitar la erosión por el agresivo ambiente marino que caracteriza las poblaciones costeras.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
