Zingtober Day 20: RIVALS - Infurnals competing for leadership of the pack 🐺

Good afternoon, my dear readers and members of the #Hive artistic community. Happy Monday and, of course, happy start to the week to everyone reading this today. Your friend Manuel is here once again to bring you a new post for my blog.

Muy buenas tardes mis queridísimos lectores y lectoras de la comunidad artística de #Hive, feliz lunes y por supuesto feliz inicio de semana para todos los que se encuentran leyéndome el día de hoy, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel una vez mas para traerles un nuevo post para mi blog.

On this occasion, I would like to present my entry for today's #Zingtober challenge from my dear friends in the #Holozing community. Today's word or term is (RIVALS), and my idea was basically to create two creatures from the game as if they were fighting or battling each other. I spent a long time thinking about which creatures to use and at first I thought about dragons, but since I had already done a drawing of dragons, I decided to try something different. Finally, I came up with the idea of choosing the Fire Wolf (INFURNAL) creature in its second stage, fighting another friend of the same species to see which of the two is the strongest in the pack:

En esta ocasión les vengo a presentar mi entrada para el día de hoy de la dinámica del #Zingtober de mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Holozing, el día de hoy la palabra o termino correspondiente es (RIVALS) y mi idea básicamente fue crear 2 criaturas del juego como luchando o teniendo un combate entre si; estuve un buen rato pensando en cual criaturas usaría y pensé en un primer momento en los dragones, pero como ya había hecho un dibujo de los dragones decidí intentar algo diferente, y finalmente se me ocurrió elegir a la criatura de tipo Lobo de fuego (INFURNAL) en su 2da etapa luchando contra otro amigo de su misma especie para saber cual de los 2 es el mas fuerte en la manada:

Well, I started working on my sketch and looking for a good pose for both creatures. In this case, for the first one (INFURNAL) on the right, I tried to adopt an attack pose where it is crouching with its snout forward, preparing to attack; while for the other one, I decided to draw it as if it were jumping to dodge its rival's attack. Since both creatures would be of the same species, I decided to use a similar color palette for both. In this case, I started with a dark medium gray base for both, and then I began to give the wolf on the left its basic shape with the help of my airbrush brush to define the shadows and highlights a little.

Bueno, empecé trabajando mi boceto y buscando una buena pose para ambas criaturas, en este caso para el primer (INFURNAL) de la derecha traté de adoptar una pose como de ataque donde se encuentra agachado con su hocico hacia adelante preparándose para atacar; mientras que para el otro se me ocurrió dibujarlo como si estuviese saltando para esquivar el ataque de su rival. Como ambas criaturas serian de la misma especie decidí usar una paleta de colores similar para ambos, en este caso empecé con una base de color gris intermedio oscuro para ambos, y luego comencé a darle la forma básica al lobo de la izquierda con ayuda de mi pincel de aerógrafo para ir definiendo un poco las sombras y luces de volumen.

On the chest area of the first wolf, I used light grays, as well as on the tips of the paws, to create a second layer of fur for the INFURNAL. In this case, I worked on the texture with the same sketch brush, leaving some strands of fur loose. For the eyes, I decided to use dark grays and make them quite large. My idea was to show the first wolf staring down at his opponent, and I also painted sharp fangs in the mouth area. For the second wolf, I repeated a similar process, only adjusting and adapting the lights and shadows coming from the upper left side of my canvas, although I also tried to paint the second wolf's mouth open, showing its fangs.

En la zona del pecho del primer lobo use unos grises claros, así como en la punta de las patas para plasmar una 2da capa de pelaje para el (INFURNAL), en este caso trabaje la textura con el mismo pincel de boceto dejando algunos mechones de pelaje sueltos. En el caso de los ojos decidí usar unos grises oscuros y darles un tamaño bastante grande, mi idea era que se notara en el primer lobo la mirada fija hacia abajo concentrado en su adversario, así como también pinté colmillos afilado en la zona de la boca. En el caso del 2do lobo repetí un proceso similar, solo ajustando y adaptando las luces y las sombras provenientes del lado superior izquierdo de mi lienzo, aunque también traté de pintar la boca del 2do lobo abierta mostrando sus colmillos.

For the tips of both wolves' tails, I worked with various shades of gray to represent the flame or blaze that these creatures have at the tip of their tails, and I used the airbrush again to create a slight heat effect around the flame. Finally, to complement my drawing a little, I decided to create a forest scene with lots of trees around which I painted with fairly dark grays. I also created some bushes in different areas of the ground and deepened the scene a little with some clouds in the background.

En el caso de la punta de las colas de ambos lobos trabaje con grises variados para representar la especie de flama o llamarada que tienen estas criaturas en la punta de su cola, además de que use el aerógrafo nuevamente para crear un poco de efecto calórico alrededor de la flama. Al final y para complementar un poco mi dibujo lo que se me ocurrió fue crear un escenario de bosque con muchos arboles alrededor los cuales pinte con grises bastante oscuros, también cree algunos arbustos en diferentes zonas del suelo y profundice un poco el escenario con algunas nubes justo en el fondo.
