Splinterlands | GORGUG THE ENDLESS is a powerful Archon with Bloodline ability

Hello Splinterlands family!

A warm welcome to my another Splinterlands post frends and I guess all of you are buzzing well in life and enjoying the day with your family and friends. Now, for my fellow Splinterlands players, I hope all of you are actively playing into this current ranked season, both in modern or wild format and the new Frontier format as well. If we take a look at the season clock, only 7 days and 19 hours left for this ongoing ranked season to hit the end, and on the other hand, we only have around 1 day and 18 hours left before the Frontier raffle takes place. So, those of you who are dedicatedly playing this season, be sure to reach your goals before time, as the the bloodbath at the season end is about to start soon. Anyway, for mew players, I hope you all are enjoying the game and are progressing and building your collection and stake in the game, I hope you all are also focusing on these 2 formats daily, apart from partaking into the Tournaments and Brawls daily of course.

Now, for those of you who are still sleeping on this newest launched free to play ranked mode, I would advice them to at least spend their energies daily and collect those foundation edition cards for free just by simply playing the mode. I have been playing this mode actively for a while now and just recently I started collecting enough foundation edition cards to upgrade them to their next level. Just recently, I have upgraded 2 foundation cards to level 2, all from the fire element and luckily, one of them being the summoner card. Today again, I want to share some more foundation cards, which I have managed to get enough BCXs to upgrade them. As you can see in the screenshot above, I have total 5 foundation cards ready to be upgraded to level 2 and obviously, I upgraded them all soon after creating the image.

Today also, I have started playing the daily allotted 3 reward missions in the Frontier mode and have already cleared my first mission with 5 total wins. I have already collected my reward, an shiny epic and a rare card along with an entry token, which you can see from above. In the screenshot, you can see I am lucky today to receive the Earth Epic card Glimmermancer, as I didn't have this card in my collection. As slowly my foundation cards are upgrading and becoming more powerful, I expect to play in the Silver league soon. If that happens, I would be earning 3 cards per reward claim in daily missions, which would definitely boost my card accumulation speed.

Gorgug the Endless

Now, let me move toward the main topic of this post, as today I will be showcasing another awesome Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be shading light upon the GORGUG THE ENDLESS. So, if you are interested to learn more about this card, then let’s take a dive without any further ado.

Gorgug the Endless is an Archon or summoner type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of latest Conclave Arcana edition card-set. This card belongs to the Water element and it comes from the Orc bloodline. This archon card only costs 4 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily select this archon when playing small to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with Little Leagues ruleset. By rarity, it is a Rare type card, so it would require a total of 115 BCXs cards to upgrade it to max level. Let us now take a further look at its league wise monster support levels below to find out more.

Bronze - At level 2, this archon card supports monsters in the battle at the mentioned levels for different types - common - 3, rare - 2, epic - 2 and legendary - 1.

Silver - At level 4, this archon card supports monster levels for different types - common - 5, rare - 4, epic - 3 and legendary - 2.

Gold - At level 6, this archon card supports monster levels for different types - common - 8, rare - 6, epic - 5 and legendary - 3.

Diamond/Champion - At max level 8, this archon card supports monster levels for different types - common - 10, rare - 8, epic - 6 and legendary - 4.

ARCHON ABILITIES

-1 RANGE ATTACK

Now, this Rare Water summoner comes with 1 debuff and 1 buff, that it applies to the related monsters at the start of the battle, where the first debuff is -1 range attack power, which it applies to all enemy monster and next is a special ability which I am going to talk about below.

BLOODLINE DOMINION -> ENRAGED

Now for the second buff, it is actually a combo of Bloodline Dominion, where the archon can choose any monster, irrespective of their element origin, that belongs to its own bloodline and then grant them with the linked ability, Enraged in this case.

BLOODLINE DOMINION - Units that share a bloodline with this archon can be summoned from any element and gain the linked ability.

The linked ability for this archon is Enraged.
ENRAGED - +50% melee power and speed (rounded up) if not at full health.

So overall, it is a great archon and obviously a must have in your collection if you want to play competitively in the game. First of all, it is an archon card, while alone is a big reason to acquire this card. Adding more to that, its -1 range attack power to enemy rangers will be useful to tackle ranged cards while its bloodline dominion may come as handy if you have any monsters from the same bloodline available in your collection.
