What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in life and enjoying playing splinterlands and experiencing the thrill in your daily free time. Now for those of you who play this game in a serious manner, I guess all of you are fully into playing the game right now, as we have only 3 more days before this ongoing ranked season meets its end. So, whatever your goals are for this season, whether to reach a league tier or to claim and hold a glorious position in the Champion top leaderboard, be sure to accomplish it as soon as possible. Not only is the end near, but the season end bloodbath has started as well cause most of the OG players are super active right now. Now talking about me, right now I am playing at the Diamond I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,420 and so far in this season, my performance is not comparatively good. My goal is to reach and hold Champion III at least and to achieve that, I would need another 280 trophies from here which seems not an easy task of course, but I will just keep trying and let’s see how it goes.

Moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be showcasing another cool tank card that belongs to the old Chaos edition but still works like a charm, but is still an underdog as I don't see many people using it. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be projecting light upon the EVELYN AUVERA. So, if you are interested, let us take a dive without any further ado.

EVELYN AUVERA

EVELYN AUVERA is a monster type card that falls under the Chaos Legion edition and this card was introduced in the game with the launch of old Chaos Legion reward cards, so many old players who used to play actively got this card for free from rewards. This card belongs to the Life element and it is an attack-less tank card. It is an Epic type card, so you would need a total of 46 BCXs of cards in order to upgrade this beast to its max level of 6. It costs only 5 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily choose this card when playing medium to high mana limit matches and even in small ones as well. Now, apart from a slow speed but with a good combo of armour + health, this card also comes with a whopping 4 abilities at its max level which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look into its league wise stats and abilities to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 2, this card possesses 2 speed with 8 armour and 5 health and it also gets the Immunity ability since its initial level. With the help of this ability, this monster can be immune from magic buffs and Cripple ability.

SILVER

As you upgrade this card to level 3, its stats remain the same as of its previous level - 2 speed with 8 armour and 5 health. But it does get a new ability at this level called Thorns with which, it will do 2 return damage whenever an enemy melee monster attacks it. So now, this monster has become an effective choice against melee attackers.

GOLD

When this monster gets upgraded to level 5, its stats get a little bit increment, as it now gets the same 2 speed at 8 armour but with increased 6 health. Not only that, it also receives a new ability called Reflection Shield at this level with which, now it can stay unharmed from damages by Blast, Return Fire, Magic Reflect or Thorns.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this card to its max level of 4, it gets the same stats of its previous level - 2 speed with 8 armour and 6 health but gladly, it receives another awesome ability at its max level called Inspire. With the help of this ability, this monster can now give a +1 attack to all its friendly melee monsters. So just try to use these cards with melee attackers and the results will be much more powerful.

BATTLE STAT

This time while playing splinterlands, I received a medium 28 mana limit match where there were a total of 3 elements allowed for this match - Water, Life and Dragon. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Heavy Metal (only armoured units can be used), Counterspell (all units receive the Magic Reflect ability) and Close Range (all ranged monsters can attack from the front position). So after looking at all the rules and limits applied in this match, I decided not to use any heavy magic hitters and instead chose to build a defensive lineup and leverage the return damage abilities to defeat my opponent. So as I decided, I started building my lineup accordingly.

For this match, first of all, I chose the Dual legendary Rebellion summoner Eternal Tofu with Life cards and at the first position of my lineup, I chose the Grimbardun Smith followed by the Sunkai Harvester, Olivia of the Brook and the Evelyn Auvera at the end position. When both the lineups were revealed, I found out that my opponent had used the Chaos Water summoner Kelya Frendul and at his first place, he chose the Diemonshark followed by Uraeus, Henchling Enforcer and Swamp Spitter at the end position.

As the battle began, the enemy Uraeus started targeting my Evelyn and the rest targeted my Grimbardun Smith. But Uraeus first got Thorned by my Evelyn and then, My Olivia took it down at first round. No monsters died in the second round but the enemy card Henchling got wounded by Olivia and was alive with only 3 health. But my Olivia didn't show any mercy and took it down at round 3. Finally, in round 4, the opponent was successful in killing the first monster in my lineup, the Grimbardun Smith and soon after in round 5, he killed down my Harvester as well. But my Olivia took revenge and killed down the Diemonshark with both its dual attack + Thorns ability at round 6 and the only enemy monster alive was the poor Swamp Spitter which got killed later again by my Olivia and thus, I won another amazing match.
