Hello Splinterlands fam!

I guess all of you are doing well in life and are able to manage some free time from your daily busy schedule to enjoy playing this amazing strategy web3 game. If you are an existing splinterlands player, then you already know how addictive this game actually is and the fun of slowly growing your assets over time and continuing to progress in this game. First of all, let us take a look at the ongoing ranked season and though it feels like we have finished playing the last one just now, a few days have passed already and right now, we only have around 11 days and 21 hours left for this current ranked season to meet its end. It may seem a lot of time but believe me, time passes faster in the land of splinters and the weather also changes quite quickly, so it would be best to work on weather goal you have set for yourself, whether it is to reach a certain league tier or to secure and protect a glorious spot in the top leaderboard at Champion league.

On the other hand, respecting its ever-expanding nature, the game and launched a brand new playing format just recently, which is called the Frontier mode and I know for a fact that most of you are already diving deep into this mode and pouring all your energies to win those cool foundation edition cards and entries. Like most of you, I am also playing this new mode dedicatedly and chasing all those shiny foundation edition cards and grabbing then one by one simply by playing and completing the daily rewards. Just recently, I managed to acquire enough cards to upgrade 3 foundation cards from their starter level as you can see from the screenshot above. Luckily, one of them is the Fire summoner Barthalamas and the other 2 are also from the same Fire element - Sturdy Axe Warden and Chaos Furybringer. But wait, the happiness doesn't end here, because today after finishing a quest and aiming the rewards, I received my first Legendary Foundation card, the Celestial Guardian from the Life element. Overall, I am having a great time playing this new mode and I guess the feeling is the same for you all as well.

Aerial Shieldmaiden

Now moving forward to the main topic of this post, today I will be talking about another amazing Conclave Arcana edition card with you all and as you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be showcasing the Aerial Shieldmaiden. So, if you are interested in knowing the details and features of this card, let’s take a dive without any further ado.

THE Aerial Shieldmaiden is a monster type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana edition card-set. This monster belongs to the Water element and it cones from the Tortisian bloodline. It is a big card that costs 8 mana to be used in battles, so ideally, you may fit this card in your lineup when playing medium to high mana limit matches. By rarity, it is a Rare type card, so you would require a total pf 115 BCXs cards in order to upgrade this card to its max level. Its attack type is Ranged and apart from a big attack power, this monster also features a very good combo of armour and health at a decent speed along with 3 awesome abilities, which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look into this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to find out more about this monster.

BRONZE

At level 2, this monster possesses powerful stats, consisting of 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 3 armour and 5 health. Apart from such a big stats even at the bronze league level, it also carries 2 abilities called Flying and opportunity, both of which it gets since its initial level. So you get an opportunity card out of the box that is harder to attack with non flying card, which is a great combo I would say.

FLYING - +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake.

OPPORTUNITY - Targets the enemy unit with the lowest health.

SILVER

When you upgrade this card to level 4, there all of its stats except for its health remains the same, as it now carries 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 3 armour and 6 health. Not only that, but it also gets another ability at this level called armored strike, which will help you deal even more damage to enemy monsters, till you manage to keep its armour.

ARMORED STRIKE - If armored, gains a physical attack that deals damage equal to remaining armour.

GOLD

As this monster card gets upgraded further to level 6, there it receives a further increased stats of 3 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 6 health along with those 3 abilities that ai mentioned above. Though it doesn't get any new ability at this level, its increased firepower alone will help you to kill down enemy card faster than before.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally when you upgrade this card to its max level of 8, there its stats gets increased even more, because now it flaunts a whopping 4 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 4 armour and 8 health. Sadly, it doesn't get any new abilities even at its max level, but that would not matter much, because its buffed up attack power and health will help you in both defence and offence. So overall, this card is indeed a powerhouse and worth of a spot in your card collection, hat do you think?
