MOONKARTS | Pushing My Rank in Multiplayer Leaderboards

(Edited)

Hello Moonkarters!

I hope all of you had enjoyed an amazing weekend with your family and friends and for those who play Moonkarts like me, I guess you have already noticed that we have already crossed halfway of this ongoing ranked season and only around 4 days and 20 hours left for this current ranked season to meet its end. So, if you are playing competitively in the Multiplayer mode and trying to push yourself on both the leaderboards, then you should do it harder cause we don't have any time left. But one thing that no one can deny, every race played in the multiplayer is an experience filled with pure fun and challenging, because in Moonkarts, racing through those asphalt racing tracks while competing with other pro racers, every moment is full of thrill and not to mention, as you continue master the race tracks and get closely connected with your racing setup, you start to enjoy the adrenaline rush even more while racing on Moonkarts.

Looking at me, I have only spent around 2 months in the game and lately started participating in the multiplayer mode. I dedicated my initial days on Moonkarts to learn about the basics of this game and after spending some time in single player mode to practice and brush up my gaming skills and learning the race tracks, I have finally gained some courage and started racing against other players in multiplayer mode from season 18 onwards. I have also started working on my in-game assets and Colony tokens and been buying new cards and upgrading old ones to strengthen my racing setup. Recently, I bought a large bunch of Colony tokens and reached 400k+ Colony tokens staked in my account. Not only that, I have also bought another new Kart, a 1 BCX legendary Arachno Eclipse, which I have been using lately in the multiplayer mode and will talk about probably in my next post once I gain some experience with it. But gladly, both my investments and active playing are starting to show some positive results, which I will be talking about in this post. So, if you are interested, let us take a dive without any further ado.

For those who are probably hearing about this game for the first time, Moonkarts is a rising play2earn gaming project in the crypto and this is a racing game, which is being built and run on our beloved Hive blockchain. Developed by the ArcadeColony gaming platform, this game offers a kart-style racing game and possesses all the features of a crypto game, like play2earn feature, true asset ownership, state-of-the-art security and on-chain transparency. If you love to play arcade-style games, then you will be a fan of this game in no time, not to mention that its jaw-dropping full-fledged 3D game environment will captivate you in no time and will keep you hooked on those racing tracks literally for hours.

My Current Racing Setup

Now, talking about my current racing setup, since I bought the Arachno Eclipse recently, since then I have only been using this kart whenever racing and have kept my level 2 Quasar Sport staked in Auto Vault, which is earning me a decent amount of Fuel per day. Now looking at my overall racing setup, apart from the legendary Arachno Eclipse kart card, I am also using a handful of other car parts and accessory cards, which are attached to my Kart and increasing my overall racing stats by a good margin. As you can see from the screenshot above, I am using 3 accessory cards - a common type Corner Demon Antenna card, a common type Smooth Pulse exhaust card, and a rare type Lite Glide Rim card. Now for the tech cards or car parts, I am using a Coon type Tire Alignment card and an Epic Engine Refinement card. However, I am not using any power-up cards in my racing setup, though I have 4 different types of power-up cards, because though they are very useful to tackle opponent ravers, they also consume a lot of fuel when being used.

Anyway, talking about my racing setup’s overall stats, which I shared in the screenshot above, I have 86 health, 229 speed, 108 handling, and 104 acceleration stats in my current setup and comparing it with my previous setup, where I used to play with the Quasar Sport kart, the current setup has a little bit more speed and Acceleration, but the main advantage that I got out of this setup is its smooth handling, which helps me to pass even the sharpest corners on different race tracks easily while performing drift. However, I still need some more cards in both the accessory and tech part sections, as I want to replace my common and rare cards with epic and legendary cards, but that will require a significant amount of investing and need some time to buy them and add to my collection.

My Current Earnings

As I have worked on both my Colony stake and racing setup, my colony earnings are also experiencing a significant boost. As you can see from the screenshot above, I am earning visibly more Colony tokens and Orbital points per race and my rank in both the leaderboards has also jumped high early this time. As you can see in the image above, I am currently having 2600+ ranking points and my current Colony staking multiplayer is 17.99x. I am currently earning from 8 or 10 to 18 Colony tokens per race, including both the On-track Colony and Ranked Colony Rewards. Just like in the shared screenshot above, I earned 18.31 Colony tokens and also earned 5960 Orbital points, because I was placed first in that race and also was able to collect at least 3 orbitals from the track while racing. So, my investment didn't go in vain and has already increased the returns.

Fuel Earning

After buying the remaining Quasar Sport cards to upgrade my Quasar to level 2 and then buying the Arachno Eclipse, my wallet is almost broken down, but these new cards are helping me to generate more fuel per day. As shared in the screenshot above, I am currently earning 391.9 Fuel per day, which is enough to pay for 5 or 6 races if I use my best racing setup. But I realised this is not enough if I have to play extensively to compete for the top 3 leaderboard places, so I may have to buy Fuel from the other players or stake more cards with script tokens to increase my fuel generation. Now, let's see which path I decide to move on with this in the future and until then, let me keep playing and accumulate more Colony tokens to increase my stake balance over time.
