MOONKARTS | My Best Kart Accessories for Multiplayer Mode
Hello Moonkarters!
It's been 2 months since I discovered the Moonkarts game through a Hive post and since then, I am continuously learning and also invested a decent amount in the game. After racing in the Single player mode for some time and learning all the basics mechanisms like drifting or turning sharp in the game, I have recently invested in 5 packs and received an Epic Kart and Engine, which I am currently using along with the rare Aurora Driver in the multiplayer mode and slowly practicing in this mode to boost my earning progress.
What is Moonkarts
If you haven't heard about it already, Moonkarts is a rising web3 Play2earn arcade-based kart-style racing game built on the Hive blockchain and developed and run by the Arcade Colony company. If you have read my previous Moonkarts blogs, you must have read the series that I have made of Moonkarts tutorial posts, which cover all the basics mechanics and gameplay tactics of this game like - how to start your racing career in Moonkarts by opening your account, different in-game items like Karts, Kart Parts, Drivers, Accessories, Power-Up cards etc and their effect in gameplay, Card Leveling and Merging, Auto-Vault feature for Card Staking and start Fuel Generation, how to earn Colony tokens etc.
My Racing Combo Setup
Moving on, I have learned the game while playing in multiplayer to become competitive and grow my profile, because it is now time to engage in the actual game. As I told above, in order to stay competitive in Moonkarts multiplayer mode, a player must use the best things he has to have a decent chance of winning races in Multiplayer mode and for this reason, I am also using the best - a rare Driver and an Epic Kart along with an Epic Engine card, a Gold foil Common Exhaust and other rare and common part cards. Now, depending on your budget, you can either invest in Centauri Packs or directly buy NFT cards straight from Moonkarts market, I have done both and got these as my cards as you can see from the screenshot above.
Improved Stats
Now if we focus on my setup’s stats, it has a good speed and average Handling but it’s bad in terms of Health and acceleration. Anyway, I have a 76/259 Health bar with a whooping 218/330 Speed at 98/250 Handling and 81/250 Acceleration. Right now while riding this Kart, I am Lacking acceleration after breaking my kart at rough corners or after accidents. So I am currently placing buy orders on Centauri packs if I can get a handful at a cheap rate and find something amazing from them.
Anyway, in today's post, I will be focusing on the Accessories attached to my kart. As you already know, accessories are NFT cards that can be inserted in your racing to set up not just to visually improve your looks but also to add more stats to it. Now though I have not acquired anything fancy collection in my accessories cards, I am using the best cards I currently have and as shared in the screenshot above, I have filled all three 3 accessories slots - Antenna, Exhaust and Rim. Let us now look into each of these different NFT Cards and find their stats and advantages below.
CORNER DEMON - ANTENNA Card
The first accessory card that I have included in my racing setup is the Corner Demon card and it is a Common type NFT card. The specialty of this card is that on top of basic antenna stats, this card also Gives +0.3 Handling stats to my racing setup, which will be helpful to smoothly cross those tight corners without ramming my car with the guard walls. I am only using a level 1 Corner Demon Card here and its Fuel Potential/cost is only 0.8.
As if it's basic stats, this is a common antenna card, so in order to level my card from level 1 to 2, I will have to combine 20 cards. To reach the maximum level, this card needs a total of 400 BCXs of cards. Though at level 1, it only adds 7.3 Acceleration to the racing set, when it reaches its max level 10, its acceleration stats become 8.2, which is almost 1 more than level 1.
LITE BURN - EXHAUST Card
The next Accessory in my current racing setup that I would like to showcase is my Exhaust and I have bought this card using Credits directly from the market just recently. Exhaust in Moonkarts game is important to increase your speed stats and speed is very important to win races. Now, though it is a common type NFT card, because of its gold type foil, it comes out directly as level 3 for just 1 BCX Gold card and also, the Fuel potential/cost for this Gold foil card is 9.6, for which, it is a good choice for staking and generating fuel as well. Now looking at its specialty, this card increases the Racing Setup’s speed stats by a solid +10.5. As it is a level 3 card, its stats are way higher in comparison to a common foil of the same card.
Now looking at its basic stats, my 1 BCX Gold foil card is directly coming out as a level 3 card and in order to reach the next level 4, I would need to combine 4 cards together. A total of 10 BCXs of cards will be required to reach the max of level 10 for this Gold Foil card. Now, at level 3 this card gives 9.38 Speed and when it becomes a max level, its speed stat gets increased from 9.38 to 10.08. A decent increase but as it increases your top speed, every extra digit becomes important.
LITE GLIDE - RIM Card
The last Accessory that I will be showing you all in this post is My Rim card which I am also using actively on my racing setup for multiplayer. Rims on Moonkarts not only enhance the aesthetics of your kart but it also adds a bit of extra Acceleration with its well-designed aerodynamics. Now talking about the specialty of this card, the Lite Glide card is a rare type NFT card and it gives a smooth +5.3 acceleration stats to your racing setup and also, this card comes with a 2.4 Fuel Potential/Cost. So, if you are looking to increase your acceleration by a bit for a cheap rate, choosing this Rare rim may be a good choice for you.
Now, if we look at this Rare card’s level-wise stats, we can see that at level 1, this card only possesses 8.3 Acceleration and then gets increased by +0.1 on every level up. But, to level it from 1 to 2, I would require 10 cards to combine. In order to upgrade this card at max level, it will need a total of 150 BCXs of card, but at Max Level, it will provide a solid +9 Acceleration Stats, which will definitely help you in multiplayer mode.
