Why Understanding History is Crucial for Our Future
History helps us understand our identity and where we come from.
This is a publication based on the suggested topic proposed in the Hive Learners community through their discord, which on this occasion is "Is History Important?.
Today's topic is the backbone of each country. History is very important because all those exploits and all those battles and those beginnings of what the country is today give us the identity, allow us to know all those mistakes, and all those things that those people did in the beginnings of a country. That is what takes us to where we are today, is what that allows us to understand where we come, from generally the story is seen or observed as a subject in which people have to memorize dates, and that's it and for me History is much more than memorizing dates. It is not about having that idea, that it is a space to fill in a resume, that is something that is going to be presented at the job level in the resume, as a specialist in the subject, or as having studied the subject for several Is much more than this. Is understanding that what those people did and how lived years ago, allowed them to bring the country to the current state, in which we find ourselves thanks what was done in those years ago... is that we can live as we are living, and have what we are having right now in our countries. So history is very important because it allows us to imagine and understand how these people managed to solve the difficulties and overcoming the obstacles, they had during those years. And there we can see the identity and sense of belonging that characterizes each country, is then very interesting. Also knowing all the victories and mistakes of those people who committed them because through of this, first we are going to see how they resolved those issues, and we are also going to see what attitude they took into account, the mistakes they made and how they were, what ability they had to handle them. The victories and defeats, then that tells us a lot about those people, that also does a big difference, because being able to see how they behaved, in relation to how we behave today, we can establish the evolution and the differences that we have In today's world. We can see how today's world has advanced. So I believe that schools History classes must take into account that they currently give it much more importance and, above all, all about making students understand that it is not about memorizing a date or an event. Because that is not going to be of any use, if it is not about understanding what was happening in the entire context, economic, social and political history that took place in that specific year. And understanding this, it would be possible to have a clearer idea of the difficulties or obstacles that They are trying to overcome, those people at that moment. So that is what is important and what it gives the heart, the center, the essence of what history is, and what institutions and schools, and universities must take into account for the future of humanity. Then History is a very important subject to take into account, and that allows us to evaluate the entire state in which the country is located, and what gives a person a sense of belonging with your country, with your origins. Then let us value history more and understand it in a way entertaining, and we also encourage schools and educational institutions to have teachers who educate on the subject in an entertaining, interactive and pleasant way, so that there more approach and more approach more acceptance of this important subject for everyone. Without history, we can't know our identity. The beginning and end of a country are based on history.
Without a doubt, history is an unassailable factor in our lives.
History traces us back to our lineage, everything we hear and believe is a result of history, we believe in Jesus and Allah but no one has ever seen them, the holy book we carry is also a result of history even the Earth's evolution is part, so history is very important in the education sector. Thank you for the tip
History is something extremely valuable, it gives us identity, it tells us how our ancestors lived, our roots, and it allows us to meet such interesting people from other distant countries like you, my dear @eunice9200
Thank you
I leave you a quote from Machado:
Men of Spain, neither the past is dead,
nor is tomorrow-nor yesterday-written!
A Hug @manclar.
Yo sere breve: ¡Que viva Paquita! y Ole! 😂
🦩🪭 😂 Abrazo!!!

Learning history enables us to understand the pathway from where we have reached the point where we are today. History is a source of both inspiration and lessons. Taking lessons from the mistakes of the past and inspirations from the actions of our former generations makes us able to overcome our challenges.
History also enables us to understand our uniqueness and accept ourselves wholeheartedly.
I agree with everything you say.
But nowadays it seems that people do not learn from history, at least here in these parts of South America that is what is clear. People continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, and I see that we have a long way to go to live on a humanized and sustainable planet, being a species that honors a superior and developed intelligence, without being artificial.
Note: Can you believe that these days I was thinking about visiting your publications and in between so much content that comes into my hands, and my new job as moderator of a Hispanic project on Saturdays. Do I forget frequently? I'm going to have to schedule a time to visit you at least once a week 😀
You reminded me of a quote I read years ago.
The greatest lesson from the history of Muslims is that they never learned a lesson from the history.
Seems like it is the truth for most of the nations.
I believe that. It happens to me too when I miss some online fellow we do come across without deliberate arrangement. It makes me believe the existence of electromagnetic rays emitting from our hearts.
Well, there is no obligation to visit me. Hehehe. Let's build this readership relation organically without feeling compelled for any reason 😀
Plus, I am not that active these days either.
No worries.
Greetings
