The impact of pollution on our health and future

This is a publication based on the suggested topic proposed in the Hive Learners community through their discord, which on this occasion is "A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT".

Welcome my usual readers and to the new ones too.
The topic to talk about today is a healthy environment, and it is very important to live in a place where your environment is prosperous.
Why? Because simply having a place where people see that everything is in order, that everything is clean and unpolluted, people tend to behave in a more correct way.
They tend to have that feeling of feeling good, and this changes your attitude and your way of thinking.
When things are usually tidy and clean, they give this feeling; they promote that the human being has this proposal to do things in a positive way, generate growth.
While the environments that are full of disorder, because they have everything opposite, there is usually chaos and there are usually problems, high rates of crime and poverty within those environments.
The first question we are asked in the community is:
What is your idea of a healthy environment?
For me, specifically for living in a city and in the capital of the country, which is a very busy place and very committed at the level precisely of pollution and contamination, the idea of a healthy place starts with a place free of sonic pollution.
A place where sounds manage to allow people to move forward.
And it is that being in a place like the one I live in, where the culture of people is to place loud music and popular music that does not coincide precisely with my tastes at high hours of the night, causing interruptions and great nervous attacks that cause anxiety in people, because it is not precisely an environment that I consider healthy, but quite the opposite.
A healthy environment is the one for me in which there is peace, there is a lot of nature, the air is pure and the water is also pure, free of pollution.
And the environment where we develop is clean, everything is in order.
There are no insects such as cockroaches and others that are harmful to health, and there is no garbage thrown down the street.
Currently, this is a problem that we have in the place where we live, that people throw garbage out of the containers because the containers are overflowing with garbage.

And then, of course, not having space to throw garbage, people throw the waste, both organic and other types, out of the container. And this brings a series of rats, dogs that come from the street, people, indigenous people who check the garbage bags, and cockroaches and other types of insects and germs that do not create a healthy environment.
The other question that we are asked is:
What components should be in the place before this place is considered healthy?
As I mentioned earlier, the most important thing for a place to be healthy is that everything is clean, that there is no sonic pollution, and above all that the water and air are pure, free of pollutants, because this is the main thing to lead a good life.
We are also asked if the environment where I live is healthy.
Unfortunately, I must say that for years I have lived in an environment that is not healthy.
I am surrounded by one of the largest neighborhoods and crime sites in all of Latin America, a place of high crime and high toxicity because of the different problems that we have faced for many years.
And it is a place where the sonic pollution and air pollution is very large.
Here, for example, high levels of what is called "hollin" come to my apartment, which is a particle of dust that comes off the asphalt.
And since we are in a building that is attached to a main avenue, all this hollin that moves every time the cars pass through the main avenue reaches our apartments and gets into our homes, and we breathe that, which is very harmful to our health.
So, for our environment to be pure, it would be necessary to decontaminate all the air and that the cars emit less carbon emissions, because this does a lot of damage to health. It has made me and many other people sick of the respiratory tract, causing me to suffer from pneumonia, asthma, and problems in the respiratory tract for many years.
To protect the environment, what we have done is try as much as possible to put certain rules, such as not to make noise at night, as much as possible to keep the common areas clean.
But sometimes it is very difficult because we have an invasion of rats and cockroaches that get into the garbage dump and get under the doors of our apartment.
It is a serious problem.
In my case, it is a serious problem because the garbage dump is exactly next to the apartment where I live, that is, it is at the door of my apartment and next to it is the garbage dump.

So all the animals get out of the garbage dump and get under my door.
So I have an ugly plague problem for many years that no matter how much it is fumigated and done, I always have the animals inside my home.
And it is a factor that has kept me sick for many years because I have not had the financial capacity to be able to move to another place and precisely because the income that I have here are not enough to allow me to be able to move to live somewhere else where my environment is healthier.
But as much as possible, we take measures to clean, to put a kind of grid under our doors so that the cockroaches and other animals do not get in, but they always keep getting into the slots.
It is something that cannot be avoided.
And we will always have pollution from the smog and the carbon emissions of the vehicles, so it is a problem that we face and it is a health problem that we have for many years, not only in this community but throughout the country.
To combat this, it is necessary that people have environmental awareness and that they know that it is necessary to maintain a world where there are many plants, where oxygen is pure, and where we can continue to enjoy pure water, which is the most basic thing for the human being.
And with all the amount of microplastics, the use of technology, smartphones, computers, and others, these magnetic emissions and the materials that are used to create computers, smartphones, and other things pollute the environment when they are discarded due to obsolescence and other things.
So we are facing a great challenge because the environment is filled with more microplastics in the air, in the water, and we are consuming those microplastics, altering our DNA.
And the new generations of children and people who are born are already contaminated due to this problem.
And all this is precisely because of us, that as human beings we are increasingly contaminating the planet Earth, and we are destined for extinction.
I always say it, and it is not that it is fatalistic, but rather very realistic.
As long as we are not aware and continue to think that this is not a problem for us because we are going to live temporarily 60, 70, 80 years on this planet and we are not going to feel affected by this, and we leave the problem to the next generations, our planet is going to continue to deteriorate step by step and in great steps for being selfish and having this kind of thinking and leave the problem to the people of the future.
Anyway, thank you for reading and I hope you can live in a healthy environment, better than mine, which I live with dozens of cockroaches and rats in my daily life.

Hi @manclar, you expose two very interesting things to me. The first is that dirt attracts more dirt. When places are clean people take more care of them, for example they throw less garbage on the ground.
And another important point, and I am talking about the managers, who seem to only have in view the immediate years, without caring that what is done now may harm the generations to come.
Best regards.
The disorder brings more disorder, it is inevitable. And the managers do not care humanity or the future of the planet, if you realize, they are already again that there is another outbreak of the Covid and that we must be locked at home ... fuck them!
Siento mucha paranoia. 😞
