Talking about security in Venezuela is a topic that is currently very controversial due to the recent elections of July 28 and the result that the majority evidently claims is electoral fraud.
Especially in this situation, the country is in tension all these days as there is talk of a possible civil war in the streets.
Aside from this feeling of discontent, tension is felt because state agencies and police forces have used different mechanisms of repression, such as imprisoning all the people who have participated as electoral witnesses in the process, and this creates intimidation to the people.
Also through social networks, people who do not agree with the electoral result, or who oppose the government, have been persecuted, and this is a mechanism of intimidation, which immediately turns the country into a place that obviously It is not safe to live.
Because imagine if a person does not have the right to express himself, or is afraid to say what he thinks, because precisely they can put him in prison and take him to a dungeon where they beat him, have his nails pulled out with pliers, or he is subjected to different type of torture as is currently happening (because this is something, this is a reality that is happening in my country right now, it is not something that is new, it is something that has been happening for a long time) it is a dictatorial state, it is common to see this type of situations in Venezuela currently.
Talking about security is complicated.
Previously, I could say that the country was a pleasant country to live in, where, let's say, an average profile is maintained, with the basic notions of being careful on the street, of complying with certain basic rules, such as not leaving the doors of the house open, or show off property or display jewelry in areas that are recognized as highly dangerous, if these types of basic rules are maintained, the person will be safe.

Obviously if an individual decides to enter or get into a highly dangerous area, it is clear that the results are not going to be exactly good, it is a question of logic. Always maintaining caution because you can be safe.
In relation to the place where I really live, it turns out that since 1975 I have been in a place that is surrounded by the favela, or the largest criminal area in all of Latin America.
I have become accustomed to living in the middle of the epicenter of crime, drugs and everything that is dangerous.
Every day you hear arguments between gangs, shots in the air, patrols, or the sounds of sirens, and alarms warning that the police are resolving some type of conflict.
Yesterday, precisely in the afternoon, as a result of the crisis, the situation that we are currently experiencing in the country, he was desperate, shouting and saying a number of atrocities, because as a result of the depression and anguish that is the result of experiencing everything time in anxiety, not knowing if you will have enough money to buy food the next day, or if you will have enough money to buy food.
This person began to scream in despair, began to curse and fight with other people. This is an area that is particularly not safe.
Also recently, in the early morning hours, criminals have tried to enter the building's parking lot to steal vehicles or perhaps break into our homes.
The area itself is really not very safe and the problem with all this is that I personally do not like living here, but I am forced to do so because I have no possibility of moving, of moving to other places.

I need a large amount of money and financially I am not able to move, move to another country or to another place where I could live more peacefully. Not now, not later.
I just don't have the financial capacity to be able to do it.
It really requires a very large sum of money and for me to be able to get that sum of money it would take more than 20 or 30 years. I am currently 56 years old and raising that sum of money to move in 30 years would already be too exhausted and too worn out by the time I could have the money and manage to move.
And unless a miracle happened, something like I won the lottery or someone gave me a donation so I could move to another country, or another place and have a better life, I would have to settle and resign myself as I have done to continue living here in this hell
But if I could have the opportunity to move or live somewhere else, I would certainly prefer to go anywhere in Asia or Europe.
I would be happy living in Seoul with the Japanese culture that is so honorable and that seems so respectable to me, or I would be very happy living in any town in Spain.
Over there in a field I would feel very comfortable.
My dream is actually to live on a self-sustaining farm growing my vegetables and keeping my animals, away from everyone as much as possible.
This is what I can tell you about my country.
My country Venezuela is a country with many natural resources and very beautiful to live in, with many beaches and many beautiful places, but currently in these historical moments that we are living, it is not the safest place to live.
In reality as I tell you, I I would prefer to live on a farm far from the city, from all the clamor of sirens, from gunshots, from all this where I can be calm, have peace and feel safe.
