Libraries: Safe Spaces for Learning, Sharing, and Growing

"Libraries preserve culture and provide access to knowledge for all."
This is a publication based on the suggested topic proposed in the Hive Learners community through their discord, which on this occasion is "Who Needs Libraries?".

"When in doubt, go to the library."

Welcome to my blog
Dear readers and beloved visitors, today I come to talk to you about an interesting topic: Are bookstores necessary?
And it's that in today's world it's absolutely essential that we enjoy bookstores, because on one hand they allow us to preserve all our heritage.
In bookstores you can find all those resources, those books and those materials that are so important to us. All those collections can be kept in very good condition there, in those bookstores.
Moreover, there we can get audiobooks, digital books and databases, in addition to physical format books as well.
And we have the advantage that they are organized by categories and we can see them by shelf.
One of the advantages of bookstores today is that they offer free technological access to all those people who don't have the ability to access a technological device or a computer.
This is very important and it's a great help for those students or people who don't have access to that.

They are also very important because they offer different types of activities there: they offer talks to learn about books, reading circles to discuss famous authors, how they wrote.
Additionally, they offer talks with the authors of the books, and that's very interesting.
They help grow, to boost knowledge. They are places that are built and made as safe and quiet spaces so students can gather and study the books and learn about different subjects.
Furthermore, I find it extremely interesting that in a bookstore you can hear other people's opinions, because it's a meeting place.
So, if a person is interested in a genre, for example science fiction, they'll be able to find many titles about that genre in the bookstore and they'll be able to learn.
Access to these materials in a bookstore is extremely positive and allows interactions with other people who will enrich our knowledge, because when, for example, you start talking about science fiction or the topic of the area you want to discuss, you'll be able to enrich your knowledge, learn the ideas that other people have and the opinions those other users have about that book.
Here an exchange of ideas is created, which facilitates and allows interaction and the ability to study these genres or books in greater depth.

It gives an additional and very important value to these authors.
Moreover, you get to know different aspects of the author better that perhaps alone or in a single person's study couldn't be known and couldn't be appreciated.
It's extremely important that bookstores exist because they bring people together.
Additionally, being able to have the experience of touching and feeling a physical book makes a big difference.
It gives great value to be able to feel and see the images, their colors and the colors of the book. This makes a big difference, it's a great added value and it's very important to be able to enjoy it.
I believe it's very important to have bookstores because they provide us with very important materials, bring the community together and promote access to all literature and all these services to people who don't have access or have difficulty accessing.
Bookstores are a very important value for our world.

Libraries are indeed safe spaces for learning and growing. There's the access to knowledge, it promote communty engagement and also offer physical interactions that digital platforms can't replicate.
Libraries are important and shouldn't go extinct, as they help in preserving our cultural heritage.
Thanjs for sharing.

I believe that the world would be very sad without libraries, and I'm afraid to live in such a world, surely it would be less human.
Huhm....so true. A world without libraries is unimaginable, it would be like losing a part of ourselves.
Living without library, represents an involvement, is much more than a delay, is going back thousands of years.
So true, more like backwardness for us.
I couldn't agree more with everything you say about libraries. By the way, very different from the ones we knew. In this, there has been progress.
A big hug @manclar.
It must be because it is evident that when they are issues that I look with optimism I see you an opportunity for progress, it is probably for that.
Maybe that's why, but it's nice to see good things in the world around us.
Well curious fact to know me better, yesterday life gave me a very hard blow, a tought one and now I have less income, however, I could write this post of the libraries, and I had already received the blow before I started doing it ... it seems that it is common in me, that when I am worse, I write better ... I am masochistic.
I don't know what happened yesterday, I just hope it is not irreparable, and about the text I don't think it is masochistic, it is realistic....
No, I mean that the masochist is me, because I have to hurt something to produce parts higher than my usual average.
I'm about to publish a new NFT, don't miss it ... I put a lot about me.
And it is not irreparable what happens to me, but it makes me suffer much more and it complicates me more than things because it ... it is as if life would not like rest ... and I need to rest ...
I do not know what has happened to you, I remain that what has happened is not irreparable. I look forward to that NFT.
Unfortunately, what I have seen is that fewer and fewer people are visiting libraries, and only romantics seem to insist on being among true knowledge!

It is very worrying!, because with less number of people away from knowledge, we will have a more difficult world. We require more prepared people, interested in critical thinking and with abilities to build a better future. Libraries are very important, they retain our identity as a species, our culture.
Let's see that destiny holds us in a few years, and how will the libraries be then, I feel very curious about that.
I do agree. And although less and less people go there anymore, I hope the structure still stands.
They must be preserved, for the good of society, while there is a library, we will exist the people we love to visit them.
You are right, libraries bring social value to those who have a common purpose. They are spaces for the exchange of ideas and healthy debate. Regards @manclar
Hopefully we never lose access to them, or disappear. I personally enjoy the programs that offer weekly, criticisms of books and direct contact with the authors, which have allowed me to give more deep sense to their works.
@manclar, you're rewarding 5 replies from this discussion thread.
Libraries are full of treasure, but so many overlook this valuable resource. !BBH
Without a doubt, they are an important value for the community and the future of the world.
