If there is something that I really enjoy, it's french fries. It seems to me that they go with everything. Nothing more delicious, at least for me, than being able to enjoy some french fries with lemon and salt, accompanied by rice, and if possible, a juicy steak; it's something very tasty.

Recently, I enjoyed some artisanal french fries, the kind that small entrepreneurs make in their homes and sell to small stores. In this case, they sold them to the store on the ground floor of the building, my friend Saúl's store. Some french fries with lemon and some tostones with lemon, which, by the way, it's been about two weeks since I last saw them, since they no longer bring them. I'm going to remind my friend to order some of those french fries, which are truly very tasty. And while I'm browsing the internet or creating content, like right now at this moment, I like to enjoy those little snacks that give that flavor, that added value, that extra something needed to keep going, and it's something I enjoy. I think french fries go with everything: they go with meat, they go with rice, they are something nutritious and very delicious.

And, of course, I sometimes, before, when I used to go to the movies, I would prepare the french fries here at my house, put them in a bag, put them in the koala, and sneak them into the movie theater. Here, I don't know if in the country where you live it's allowed, but here in Venezuela, they don't allow you to go to the movies with things you bring from home, because it's precisely a rule of the movie theater that you buy all the candy and all the things you're going to consume at the theater itself. Which, I don't know, I think on one hand it's fine, but on the other hand, they should allow the user to bring what they want from home, because there are people, for example, who can only consume a certain type of food. I'm talking about the case of people who can't consume gluten, or who are diabetic, or who have a specific condition and cannot consume the food sold at the theater or in the theater store, so they are necessarily forced to bring special things for themselves. And they should allow those people to bring their things. But, well, seen from the commercial side, that policy of the theaters is fine.

In short, what I want to emphasize is that french fries, for me, go with everything, and especially with lemon, they are a delight.

Si hay algo que realmente disfruto son las papas fritas. Me parece que combinan con todo. Nada más delicioso, al menos para mí, que poder disfrutar de unas papas fritas con limón y sal, acompañadas de un arroz, y si es posible, un jugoso bistec, es algo muy sabroso.

Estos días recientes disfruté de unas papas fritas artesanales de esas que los pequeños emprendedores se dedican a hacer en sus casas y las venden a pequeños almacenes; en este caso las vendían al almacén que está en la planta baja del edificio, el almacén de mi amigo Saúl. Unas papas fritas con limón y unos tostones con limón que, por cierto, ya hace como dos semanas que no los veo, que ya no los traen. Voy a recordarle a mi friend para hacerle un pedido de esas papas fritas que la verdad es que son muy sabrosas. Y mientras estoy navegando en internet o haciendo contenido, como ahora en este momento, me gusta disfrutar de esos pequeños snacks que dan ese sabor, ese valor añadido, ese extra que se necesita para poder seguir adelante, y es algo que disfruto. Creo que las papas fritas combinan con todo: combinan con la carne, combinan con el arroz, son algo que es nutritivo y que es muy delicioso.

Y, por supuesto, yo a veces, antes, cuando solía ir al cine, preparaba las papas fritas aquí en mi casa, las ponía en una bolsa y las ponía en la koala y las pasaba de contrabando en el cine. Aquí no sé si en el país donde tú vives está permitido, pero aquí en Venezuela no te permiten ir al cine con cosas que traigas de casa, porque es precisamente una regla del cine que compres todos los dulces y todas las cosas que vas a consumir en el cine mismo. Lo cual no sé, creo que por un lado está bien, pero por otro lado deberían permitir al usuario llevar lo que quiera llevar de su casa, porque hay personas, por ejemplo, que no pueden consumir más que un cierto tipo de comida. Hablo del caso de personas que no pueden consumir gluten, o que son diabéticas, o que tienen una condición específica y no pueden consumir los alimentos que venden en el cine o en la tienda del cine, entonces están necesariamente obligadas a llevar cosas que son especiales para ellas. Y porque deberían permitir a esas personas llevar sus cosas. Pero, bueno, visto desde el lado comercial, esa política de los cines está bien.

En fin, lo que quiero enfatizar es que las papas fritas para mí combinan con todo, y especialmente con limón, son una delicia.
