Are People Born Good or Bad?

This is a publication based on the suggested topic proposed in the Hive Learners community through their discord, which on this occasion is "HUMAN TRAITS".
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

Welcome to my blog. This time I'm going to talk about the human traits.
This is a topic quite interesting because people, I think, they learn to be good or bad, and this is due to many factors that condition their way of being.
The environment can make a person become someone quite resentful for the amount of experiences he has had in life.
If we take for example the case of people who live in a toxic environment full of crime, full of poverty, surrounded by many needs, it is very likely that the person has a great tendency to see how the people of the bad living live, and it is very likely that they take that path.
I know there are currently people who do not follow that example and who are from humble places and take the right path, but I particularly believe that this is learned by the same society, by the same medium.
It's like people had that instinct to see the malice, to see how other people who are doing harm progress in life, and obviously see how they progress easily.
And obviously, these people grab or take that bad example of those people who take that path, and it is not correct, but it is a life decision of everyone. Many will say that it is the free will. I rather see it as those people take the easy way.
There are also people who have been born with that tendency, like "I'm going to be the bad one," of being very naughty.
I believe that everything is part of a great educational process and teaching that son or that new life or that person who is under your tutelage, because it may be possible that you are not a father and you have in your position a minor or a person to whom you have to educate, and you have to prepare that person for life, to make her a good man or a good woman, a productive citizen for the world.
And this is only learned through life lessons and having good ethics, giving the example above all of how to live correctly, being a good person.
And this includes several things because this goes from respect to people who live around you, collaborate with people who need it.
I think to be humanitarian, to be a generous person, a person who contributes and participates actively helping the society or the community in which it is involved.
Then I think if they are educated from an early age, the children are going to be good people.
At least that's what I have seen in several cases.
I can cite recently the case of a friend of mine from many years ago who had a child who has neurodivergence problems. Before it was known as autism; now it is given another connotation and another name.
The fact is that this boy is already a teenager, and it has always been complicated to deal with him because he offends people, he does rudeness to people, and he is already a good teenager, I think who is 16 or 17 years old.
And recently I found out that they arrested him because he stole a person's wallet.
And of course, he shields himself or justifies what he is doing because he says that he tells the authorities or tells everyone that he is neurodivergent, that he is a special person.
And yet here the laws were applied because he said that he stole the wallet to that person by just doing a game, that doesnt was on serious.
Then, is he a bad person? I honestly think he is a bad person because it is not about him being neurodivergent. On the contrary, the people who have this characteristic are usually smarter than the average of people.
And in the case of him, because it turned out that he really is a person who proceeded with malice, and so the laws of here and the investigation they did detected it and qualified it that way.
But he was not born like that; he became tremendous because the mother did not give him the necessary education, did not put the necessary correctives.
And I'm not talking about being strong with him, but try to educate him from love and since he understands what life is like, that respect is explained to older people and people with the one he lives, and knowing that life is not a game.
Then I think, from my space, from my point of view, things are like that.
I think you are not born being good or being bad, but you learn to be good or to be bad. And this is a question that has to do a lot with education and the environment in which the person develops.
It has a lot of tendency, as I said at the beginning: if the person gets involved in a medium that is positive, because this influence is going to have, this medium is going to have a very positive influence on him, and it is very likely that he comes out as a good citizen and a good person.
If it is the other way around, because it is very likely that it will be the opposite.

Hi @manclar, you are quite right when you say that we are born neither good nor bad. The example you have given is a very good one as it implies the responsibility of caregivers in the good development of any person. Then there is the issue of whether we are 100% determined by reality or whether there is a choice. But that is another issue.
A big hug.
Yes, what gives me more laugh is that I know the reason why they ask this question in the community, and it is simply garbage, because these questions come from someone who lives locked up inside their own bubble, with thoughts that are only from their side, of their world, where all are victims.
The autistic child is proof of this.
You know this community better than I do, but I can tell you that your text is very good.
This topic has a lot to discuss. I believe I once discussed it on my blog.
You raise interesting points of view that encourage discussion, and I applaud that.
Thank you for sharing these thoughts with us!
Happy Saturday!
Yes, there are really things that are very interesting here, I have seen that villains and heroes are social constructions, based on the medium and education mainly, but of course there are their exceptions in everything!
Happy Saturday!

In most cases cruelty makes the way of being in people change. I think you learn to be a villain or hero.
