You might be doing music and be looking for a way people will listen to your music, be you a drummer or a vocalist.

The truth is that, to get people to listen and watch you do your music is very hard. You will need to know people that knows people that will recommend you to perform on big stages or platform.

If you want to make use of national television to get them watch or listen to you, it will cost you a whole lot of money, and I have come to realize that when you keep doing your music and not getting attention it hurts, it hurts really badly; you feel discouraged.

You need to know that you don’t really need to know people that knows people before you can get people to listen and watch your music, you don’t need to spend your cash making use of national televisions to get people to listen and watch your music; all you just need to do is make them watch you and listen to you.

So if social media can bring me into your room without your invite or permission, I think this is a very good opportunity before you to make use to make people watch and listen to your music since you don’t have the connections to perform on big stages and you don’t have the money to make use of national televisions.

So start making good content and upload them to the social media of your choice, but there is one preference I have for you which is YouTube, to me YouTube seems one of the best and I will tell you why.

YouTube is a the conjunction/merging of two words to form a branded name and this two words carries a very important information in them that might interest you to know, a lot of people don’t know what I am about telling you about YouTube.

If you notice, “Y” is capitalized in the name YouTube and “T” also, the reason why it is so is because they are two different words. “You” stands for yourself while “Tube” stands for television so when you join the two meanings together YouTube means “your television or my television” so if you personalize it
when you have a YouTube channel it becomes “My Television”.

So having a YouTube channel and posting content there automatically means you have a TV where people can come watch you doing your music. This is very easy when you share your YouTube video links on Facebook or other social media platform they will come to your TV to watch.

Stop waiting for the day you will get connections to perform on big stages before you start living your dream as a drummer, make use of this opportunity I have explained here and start living your dream as a drummer. Stop thinking of if you are going to get 1million views or not, just 100 view is a good start or even 50 view, do you know what it even means for you to have 50 views? That means 50 persons watched you performed on your TV.

Another preference is TikTok, TikTok has evolved overtime and has become one of the social media platform you can easily get view if you put the necessary harsh tags. You don't struggle to get views, why not leverage that opportunity and start making people watch you on TikTok?
