That was vey interesting actually, I learnt quite a bit from you sharing this and well done for smashing your goal. I have thought a few times that I should at least have one day of the week where I don't eat anything so when i see you have done 60 hours, my head is like how on earth can I give up Jamaican jerk chicken for that long but I am 100% going to do at least 1 day a week for the next month and see where we go from there and it was 100% this post that inspired me and even better, it just makes total sense.

I'm so glad this post inspired you in that way. I can give you two recommendations:

  1. Start with intermittent fasting, which can be 16 hours. For example, you eat breakfast at 10 a.m. and have your last meal at 6 p.m. From then on, nothing else until 10 a.m. the next day. Do this every day.

  2. Do the 36-hour fast, since you mentioned that you wanted to go a day without eating. You can have dinner one day, then eat nothing the next day, until breakfast on the third day.

I think that's the most “forceful” way to start. I hope you'll let me know how it goes. 👍
