Litchi! I got it after a long time, ah!

Today, I feel a different kind of pleasure. What can I say! After a long time, I mean, honestly, a long time, I bought a bunch of litchis from the store. The two pictures I gave (as you can see the litchis in the picture), they were taken this morning. Don't you see? How red and beautiful! Just looking at them makes my heart happy.

Honestly, litchis are so popular! It's not available every now and then, is it? Even in our country (meaning Bangladesh) it only comes during the summer, for a short time. It's a fruit that is only available in its specific season. Waiting for so long, and then getting this thing in my hands, makes it taste even better. You know, when I got these litchis today, I thought, oh, how long will it be before I put this juicy thing in my mouth!

And the smell? Phew! I mean, doesn't it have a light, sweet scent? When I slowly peel the peel, the white pulp that comes out from inside makes me think, ah! This is it. On this hot summer day, when I get such a cool and sweet fruit, both my mind and body feel completely refreshed. It gives me a fresh feeling.

To me, this litchi is not just a fruit. It reminds me of my childhood afternoons. That treetop, sharing litchi with friends, and having litchi juice all over my body... everything seems to float before my eyes. Today, holding this litchi in my hand, I feel like I got those days all over again.

Yes, I know, it may not be a big deal. But these small joys in life are actually a lot, right? A favorite thing, waiting for which to wait, and then enjoying it with all my heart – this feeling is very precious to me.
