Una plaza rescatada por la Comunidad Sandro / A square rescued by the Sandro Communit

Para pasar a la historia no solo bastan las acciones, sino también tener algo tangible que las personas puedan ver y recordar, o en todo caso preguntar sobre quien es el que aparece referido, en la foto o la estatua.

Cuando se trata de próceres, los libros de historia relatan su vida y obra, pero del resto, quedan un poco a la deriva, tanto que al irse una generación, su recuerdo tiende a desvanecerse. De hecho, puede pasar mucho antes.

En el paseo que hice buscando los murales de Sandro, llegué hasta una pequeña plazoleta que se encontraba un tanto abandonada, en la cual solo había un par de columpios y mucha tierra, pero para mi sorpresa, con todo el movimiento generado por la conmemoración del nacimiento de este insigne cantante, fue rescatada y puesta a la orden de la comunidad nuevamente.

Lo que antes parecía ser tierra de nadie, ahora es la Plaza Roberto Sánchez, que tiene además de una zona para ejercitarse, un parque colorido en el que los niños de la zona pueden distraerse sanamente, además de tener caminerias y ciclo vías para que los adultos puedan también disfrutar al aire libre.

Un gran tobogán de 4 resbaladillas a las cuales se accede desde el medio, sirve de aventura para grandes y pequeños, además de desafiarlos a experimentar hasta donde son capaces de atreverse, ya que los hay desde los simples, hasta otros que parecen un tirabuzón.

Además, cuenta con un par de estructuras que albergan 3 columpios cada una. una pequeña zona de escalar, una rueda y las escaleras dispuestas en U invertida, de la cual muchos quedan guindados como si fueran monitos en el zoo.

Una especie de escenario con la figura de Sandro se ubica en medio de la plazoleta, en la cual vi muchas mujeres posando junto a ellas para llevarse un recuerdo con el gitano. Lo mejor, es que tiene una linda iluminación que por suerte pude llegar a apreciar.

También cuenta con un pedestal que tiene un código QR el cual trae información tanto sobre el artista, como también del movimiento llamado Comunidad Sandro, quienes fueron junto con el gobierno del Municipio Lomas de Zamora, se encargaron de esta restauración.

De algún modo, muchos de sus seguidores, hacen llegar el legado de Sandro, ya no tanto por su música, pero acciones como esta de seguro harán que los más jóvenes pregunten quién era ese hombre. Lo mejor para mi fue ver que no solo se rescató el lugar para las personas que viven cerca o pasan por la zona, sino también, la figura del cantante fuera del entorno en el cual desarrolló su carrera, y que es justamente donde las nuevas generaciones se reúnen a compartir.

In the walk I did looking for Sandro's murals, I came to a small square that was somewhat abandoned, in which there were only a couple of swings and a lot of dirt, but to my surprise, with all the movement generated by the commemoration of the birth of this famous singer, it was rescued and put to the order of the community again.

What once seemed to be no man's land, is now the Plaza Roberto Sanchez, which has not only an area to exercise, but also a colorful park where the children of the area can have a healthy distraction, besides having walkways and bike paths so that adults can also enjoy the outdoors.

A large slide with 4 slides which can be accessed from the middle, serves as an adventure for young and old, and challenges them to experience how far they are able to dare, since there are from simple ones to others that look like a spiral.

It also has a couple of structures that house 3 swings each, a small climbing area, a wheel and stairs arranged in an inverted U, from which many are hung as if they were little monkeys in the zoo.

A kind of stage with the figure of Sandro is located in the middle of the square, where I saw many women posing with them to take a souvenir with the gypsy. The best thing is that it has a nice lighting that luckily I was able to appreciate.

It also has a pedestal that has a QR code which brings information about the artist, as well as the movement called Sandro Community, who together with the government of the Municipality of Lomas de Zamora, were in charge of this restoration.

Somehow, many of his followers, make Sandro's legacy reach out, not so much for his music, but actions like this will surely make the younger ones ask who that man was. The best thing for me was to see that not only the place was rescued for people who live nearby or pass through the area, but also the figure of the singer outside the environment in which he developed his career, and that is precisely where the new generations gather to share.
