La realidad distorsionada / Distorted reality
Una de las ventajas que tiene el arte, es que puede representar la realidad en distintos modos, de ahí el nacimiento de diferentes corrientes artísticas a lo largo de los años.
En un paseo al centro cultural Leonardo Fabio de Lanús, provincia de Buenos Aires, pude apreciar distintos puntos de vista de un mismo autor, ya que en cada salón se agrupaban sus obras por similitud.
Fue en uno de esos salones, donde aprecié la realidad distorsionada de una sociedad en la que pareciera que los roles están invertidos en algunos casos, y en otros, la imposición de pensamientos son las que imperan.
Un ligero coqueteo con la política, que nos muestra su parecer con respecto a este tópico social, tomando postura sobre una doctrina sobre otra, además de las consecuencias sociales que considera vienen de la mano con la elección de la multitud.
El cuadro titulado "entonces los monos descendieron de los hombres" fue el que más me impresionó, pues poco nos detenemos a ver cómo son los hechos y las apreciaciones desde el punto de vista de los que peor lo pasan.
Las masas, movidas por las pasiones de unas promesas, pueden ser las que cambien el panorama de un día para otro, pero ¿realmente son conscientes de ello? No! pues en su realidad, la distorsión no existe, solo evalúan los hechos desde la pasión y no desde la razón.
Un "anónimo patrio" nos muestra el trasfondo que se lleva en las espaldas, ese que muchas veces vemos en los demás, pero que por razones obvias no percibimos en nosotros mismos. Siempre será mejor creer que a nosotros no nos va a pasar lo que a los demás...
La pintura llamada "baila, Justine, baila" es la máxima expresión de cómo podemos llegar a ser manipulados, viviendo una fantasía en la que creemos que todos somos ganadores.
Y en la "señora y esos horribles muchachos de gorrita" tenemos un ejemplo de que de cerca las cosas se perciben mucho mejor. No es lo mismo ver desde un primer plano y hasta en carne propia, a lo que los demás desde lejos son capaces de percibir. En su color rojo predominante se ve una figura femenina, pero al avanzar para detallarla, la realidad inicial resulta algo completamente diferente.
Ustedes, luego de ver esta parte de la obra del artista Carlos Pérez Russo, que piensan: ¿viven en una realidad real, o en una distorsionada?
One of the advantages of art is that it can represent reality in different ways, hence the birth of different artistic currents over the years.
On a trip to the Leonardo Fabio cultural center in Lanús, province of Buenos Aires, I was able to appreciate different points of view of the same author, since in each room his works were grouped by similarity.
It was in one of those halls where I appreciated the distorted reality of a society in which it seems that the roles are reversed in some cases, and in others, the imposition of thoughts are the ones that prevail.
A slight flirtation with politics, which shows us his opinion regarding this social topic, taking a stance on one doctrine over another, in addition to the social consequences that he considers come hand in hand with the choice of the multitude.
The painting entitled “then the monkeys descended from men” was the one that impressed me the most, since we stop little to see how the facts and appreciations are from the point of view of those who have the worst time.
The masses, moved by the passions of promises, can be the ones to change the panorama from one day to the next, but are they really aware of it? No! because in their reality, distortion does not exist, they only evaluate the facts from passion and not from reason.
An “anonymous patriot” shows us the background that we carry on our backs, that which we often see in others, but for obvious reasons we do not perceive in ourselves. It will always be better to believe that what happens to others will not happen to us...
The painting called “dance, Justine, dance” is the ultimate expression of how we can become manipulated, living a fantasy in which we believe that we are all winners.
And in the “lady and those horrible beanie boys” we have an example of how things are perceived much better up close. It is not the same to see from a close-up and even in the flesh, than what others from afar are able to perceive. In its predominant red color you see a female figure, but when you move forward to detail it, the initial reality turns out to be something completely different.

Siento que son una crítica fuerte a todo y que nos grita que la miremos. Me parecieron unas obras bellas e intimidantes.
Intimidantes son cuando las detallas. Ese día de la visita, la gente solo pasaba rapidito, porque al no ser tan coloridas como el resto de la muestra, no le daban importancia.
El arte es maravilloso y este lugar también lo es.
Veo que son obras recientes (alrededor de 2017?) y representan muy bien todo lo que estamos viviendo. Ahora, más que nunca, la realidad está distorsionada
En nuestros trabajos con el modelo de ONU nos damos cuenta lo difícil que es dar con la verdad o lo más cercano a la verdad. Ya no se puede confiar en medios oficiales, fotos o videos.
