Hola amigos, para nadie es un secreto que, en vista de todo el ambiente político que se vive en mi país Venezuela, estas navidades han sido un poco pesadas, pero sinceramente, he tratado de vivirlas al máximo, asistiendo y apoyándome de actividades, y/o eventos como el que le hablaré a continuación.

El pasado 22 de noviembre, asistí a un evento, llamado Expoferia Sucre Innova, en el Hotel Nueva Toledo de mi ciudad, Cumaná, donde algunos emprendedores con empresas registradas colocaron sus stands para exhibir sus productos, también participaron algunos emprendedores artesanales pequeños. Lo curioso es que, a pesar de las adversidades, tenían muestras de comida gratis, o mas bien de sus productos, pude probar; vinos, rones de otros países, bebidas dulces tropicales, comidas. También participé en juegos, ganando algunos detalles, como; papel higiénico de la empresa Maple, y un llavero de otra empresa de bebidas alcohólicas.
On November 22nd, I attended an event called Expoferia Sucre Innova at the Hotel Nueva Toledo in my city, Cumaná. Several entrepreneurs with registered businesses set up booths to showcase their products, and some small artisan entrepreneurs also participated. Interestingly, despite the challenges, they had free samples of their products, including wines, rums from other countries, tropical sweet drinks, and other foods. I also participated in games and won some prizes, such as toilet paper from Maple and a keychain from another alcoholic beverage company.
Los stands estuvieron dispuestos de 9 am a 8 pm, aproximadamente, y a la noche contabas con actividades recreacionales, shows en vivo y participación musical de cantautores locales y nacionales. Para esto último, no me quedé, ya que, el Hotel queda a la salida de la ciudad, así que, decidimos irnos a casa para descansar, aparte que, mi pareja era uno de los promotores de una institución estadal, y su horario esos días fue bastante agitado y fuerte.
The booths were open from approximately 9 am to 8 pm, and in the evening there were recreational activities, live shows, and musical performances by local and national singer-songwriters. I didn't stay for the latter, since the hotel is on the outskirts of the city, so we decided to go home to rest. Besides, my partner was one of the promoters for a state institution, and his schedule those days was quite hectic and demanding.
La Expoferia duró unos 3 días, podías entrar y probar los productos gratis, lo cual para mi es excelente, le da a la ciudad algo que ofrecernos al ciudadano natural, más allá de sus calles y centro comerciales, un lugar o actividades de esparcimiento, para conocer y engrandecer la cultura y educación de nuestra ciudad. Es un privilegio poder tener este tipo de ferias, que a pesar de todo el índole político, disfrutemos algo diferente, en un lugar limpio, forjando buenas costumbres y una sana cultura local.
The Expo lasted about three days. You could enter and try the products for free, which I think is excellent. It gives the city something to offer its citizens beyond its streets and shopping centers—a place or activities for leisure, to learn about and enrich the culture and education of our city. It's a privilege to have these kinds of fairs, where, despite all the political issues, we can enjoy something different in a clean environment, fostering good habits and a healthy local culture.
