Hola ¿Cómo están? Espero que muy bien, en esta ocasión les voy a contar que me tocó encargarme de hacer las compras en el supermercado (es algo atípico porque normalmente mi mamá se encarga, pero ella tenía otras cosas que hacer y yo me ofrecí a ir en su lugar) Así que tomé mi bolsa de compras y me preparé para ir varios lugares ¿Por qué? Pues porque se trata de estirar el presupuesto, ya que para los que no lo saben, en mi país, Venezuela, a pesar de que gracias a Dios dejamos atrás el grave problema del desabastecimiento, el problema es el descontrol que hay en materia del precio del dólar, afortunadamente todos los supermercados basan sus precios en la tasa oficial y legal del Banco Central de Venezuela, pero eso no significa que no aumente, por lo tanto los supermercados suben los precios a algunos de sus productos.

I hope very well, this time I am going to tell you that I was in charge of shopping at the supermarket (it is something atypical because usually my mom is in charge, but she had other things to do and I volunteered to go in her place) So I took my shopping bag and prepared to go several places Why? Well because it is about stretching the budget, because for those who do not know, in my country, Venezuela, although thank God we left behind the serious problem of shortages, the problem is the lack of control in terms of the price of the dollar, fortunately all supermarkets base their prices on the official and legal rate of the Central Bank of Venezuela, but that does not mean that it does not increase, therefore supermarkets raise prices to some of their products.
Por ejemplo en este supermercado pude encontrar los huevos y la avena mucho más baratos que en otros supermercados, por ejemplo, la media docena de huevos que en otros lugares estaba en 4.30$ e incluso 5, yo la encontré aquí (super mercado La Granja) en 3.30 $ el avena que estaba en 2.50 $ por 400 gramos, yo la conseguí en 1.75 $, el café de 200 gramos lo compré a 1.17 $ y lo había visto en 1.50 $, así que en este sentido logré ahorrar bastante aquí, es algo que mi mamá siempre me dice, siempre es bueno hacer un estudio de mercado antes 😉
For example in this supermarket I was able to find eggs and oatmeal much cheaper than in other supermarkets, for example, the half dozen eggs that in other places was at 4.30 $ and even 5 I found it here (super market La Granja) at 3.30 $ the oatmeal that was at 2. 50 $ for 400 grams, I got it at 1.75 $, the coffee of 200 grams I bought it at 1.17 $ and I had seen it at 1.50 $, so in this sense I managed to save quite a lot here, it is something my mom always tells me, it is always good to do a market research before 😉.
También me sorprendió el precio del queso, ya que pagué 3.51 $ por casi 800 gramos, 1.92 $ por una mortadela de marca blanca (es decir, no es de marca reconocida, sino que es producción del supermercado) por las caraotas (frijoles negros) no recuerdo exactamente cuanto pagué pero recuerdo que los compré allí porque mi mamá dice que están más baratos en ese supermercado, y pagué 1.86 $ por cuatro rollos de papel higiénico de 400 hojas, el cuál es buenísimo, así que sin más dilación me dispuse a pagar las compras y continuar el camino hacia el otro supermercado.
I was also surprised by the price of the cheese, as I paid 3.51 $ for almost 800 grams, 1.92 $ for a white brand mortadella (that is, it is not a recognized brand, but it is a supermarket production) for the caraotas (black beans) I do not remember exactly how much I paid but I remember that I bought them there because my mom says they are cheaper in that supermarket, and I paid 1. 86 $ for four rolls of toilet paper of 400 sheets, which is very good, so without further ado I paid for my purchases and continued on my way to the other supermarket.
Este está cerca de mi casa y se llama "Maxi Mercado" de aquí me encanta la variedad de frutas que hay, incluso encontré coco, algo que no se consigue con tanta facilidad en todos los supermercados, sino en las ferias de frutas y verduras. Me encantó la oferta de 6 manzanas rojas pequeñas por 2.37 $ así que la aproveché ya que me había ahorrado dinero en las compras anteriores.
This one is close to my house and is called “Maxi Mercado” from here I love the variety of fruits here, I even found coconut, something you don't get so easily in all supermarkets, but in the fruit and vegetable fairs. I loved the offer of 6 small red apples for 2.37 $ so I took advantage of it since I had saved money on previous purchases.
Conseguí un pan de sandwitch de mantequilla a 1.50 $, pasta dental a 1 $ (que en el anterior supermercado estaba en 1.20 $) el queso no lo compré aquí porque es muy caro, así que como les dije, lo compré en el anterior supermercado, pero conseguí queso mozzarella para una receta que pensaba hacer para la cena, y pagué 1.70 $, compré masa para preparar pastelitos para el desayuno (en otros países los llaman empanadillas) 1.26 $, compré leche en polvo a 2.74$ de 200 gramos, la cual estaba en el supermercado anterior en 3$. Y finalmente compré mantequilla de 250gr a 1.06 $ . Así que honestamente me parece muy buena estrategia eso de averiguar primero el precio de los productos porque finalmente en todo eso gasté 27.64 $ de los 35 $ que yo llevaba inicialmente, así que hasta me sobraron 7.36 $ 😃 pero todo esto lo aprendimos con el tiempo porque antes, por comprar todo en el mismo lugar no nos sobraba dinero y de hecho en algunas ocasiones hasta faltaba y teníamos que regresar productos para poder alcanzar la meta.
I got a butter sandwich bread at 1.50 $, toothpaste at 1 $ (which in the previous supermarket was at 1.20 $) cheese I did not buy it here because it is very expensive, so as I told you, I bought it in the previous supermarket, but I got mozzarella cheese for a recipe I was planning to make for dinner, and I paid 1. 70 $, I bought dough to prepare pastries for breakfast (in other countries they call them empanadillas) 1.26 $, I bought milk powder at 2.74$ of 200 grams, which was in the previous supermarket at 3$. And finally I bought butter 250gr at 1.06 $ . So honestly I think it's a very good strategy to find out first the price of the products because finally in all that I spent $ 27.64 $ of the $ 35 $ that I had initially, so I even had 7.36 $ left over 😃 but all this we learned over time because before, by buying everything in the same place we did not have money left over and in fact sometimes even lacked and had to return products in order to reach the goal.

Es una excelente forma de ahorrar. A mi me gusta cuando puedo comprar todo en un solo lado, pero eso se da muy pocas veces, lo mejor es hacer un estudio de mercado como dices y así podemos estirar el presupuesto, lo hiciste muy bien.
