Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un TBT no muy antiguo, de hecho es del año pasado cuando yo estaba haciendo algunas compras en el centro de la ciudad, entonces tuve que ir a hacer algunos tramites que me condujeron, sin yo proponérmelo, a un lugar en el que fui muy feliz en mi época de adolescente, y por más que a ustedes les suene raro, se trata de la biblioteca pública, lo que sucede es que yo era la niña rara, la que amaba leer y escribía pequeños bosquejos de lo que en algún momento se convertiría en mis novelas y relatos, así que cuando me encontré con esta fachada (que sigue exactamente igual) me invadieron los recuerdos, también porque fui mucho a este lugar posteriormente cuando estudié teatro, ahí estudie obras como "Romeo y Julieta", "Hamlet" y "La Celestina"
Today I want to share with you a TBT not very old, in fact it's from last year when I was doing some shopping downtown, then I had to go to do some errands that led me, without me intending it, to a place where I was very happy in my time as a teenager, and as weird as it may sound to you, it's about the public library, what happens is that I was the weird girl, the one who loved to read and wrote little sketches of what at some point would become my novels and stories, so when I found this facade (which is still exactly the same) I was invaded by memories, also because I went to this place a lot later when I studied theater, there I studied plays like “Romeo and Juliet”, “Hamlet” and “La Celestina”.
La biblioteca está justo detrás del teatro municipal y yo tenía muchos años que no pasaba por aquí, creo que desde que estudiaba teatro, hace como 15 años más o menos, pero me alegró ver que está exactamente igual a como lo recuerdo.
The library is right behind the municipal theater and I hadn't been here for many years, I think since I was studying theater, about 15 years ago, but I was happy to see that it is exactly the same as I remember it.
Incluso las esculturas y el mural siguen allí, ya que son obras de arte de personas célebres que exaltaron la cultura de mi estado y mi ciudad
Even the sculptures and the mural are still there, as they are works of art of famous people who exalted the culture of my state and my city.
Me alegró mucho poder revivir, de cierta manera, esas tardes en las que yo iba a este lugar luego de salir del colegio, algunas veces acompañada por la única de mis amigas que amaba la literatura tanto como yo. Para mi fue un gran placer, como siempre, compartir un pedacito de mis vivencias con ustedes, la audiencias de los queridos jueves de #TBT 😉
I was very happy to be able to relive, in a way, those afternoons when I used to go to this place after leaving school, sometimes accompanied by the only one of my friends who loved literature as much as I did. For me it was a great pleasure, as always, to share a little piece of my experiences with you, the audience of the beloved #TBT Thursdays 😉.
