Guitar lessons [ESP/ENG]

Hoy me acabo de encontrar con unos fotos de hace unos cuantos años atrás (aunque no conseguí las originales sino estas con filtro sepia que yo conservaba) cuando yo solía tener clases de guitarra luego de hacer un acuerdo con un amigo de mi mamá, yo le enseñaría lo que sé de inglés y él me enseñaría a tocar la guitarra, avanzamos un poco porque recuerdo que en esa época yo estaba ocupada con asuntos de la universidad y él a su vez estaba ocupado con su trabajo, una empresa textil que había fundado junto con mi mamá y otros miembros de la comunidad, así que en realidad solo pudimos sostener el acuerdo por unas pocas semanas, a pesar de que habíamos estado entusiasmados por aprender algo nuevo, por mi parte aprendí a memorizar los trastes de la guitarra (para lo cuál él me sugirió que los enumerara, lo cuál me ayudaría a la hora de aprender a interpretar tablaturas) y además aprendí un par de canciones, que hoy en día (con la tablatura como apoyo) puedo ejecutar, aunque sin lugar a dudas me hubiese gustado aprender mucho más.

Today I just came across some pictures from a few years ago (although I didn't get the originals but these ones with sepia filter that I kept) when I used to have guitar lessons after making an agreement with a friend of my mom, I would teach him what I know about English and he would teach me how to play the guitar, we made a little progress because I remember that at that time I was busy with university matters and he in turn was busy with his job, a textile company that he had founded together with my mom and other members of the community, so in reality we could only sustain the agreement for a few weeks, even though we had been excited to learn something new, for my part I learned to memorize the frets of the guitar (for which he suggested me to number them, which would help me when learning to play tablature) and I also learned a couple of songs, which today (with the tablature as a support) I can play, although without a doubt I would have liked to learn much more.

He learned how to recognize personal pronouns in English and how to handle some verb tenses, as well as how to ask and answer simple questions. Although we didn't have long lessons, I think it was still an enriching experience. I have also tried to continue learning on my own, self-taught, following video tutorials, but unfortunately I haven't had much time for that, anyway I don't rule out the possibility of learning someday because I have always been excited about the idea of playing the guitar and recognizing tones that for now are impossible for me, I am almost deaf in that sense 🤣 everything sounds the same to me, and I become a mess with the seven modal scales of the guitar, but I know it's a matter of practice and patience.

It was very nice to have been reunited with that stage again 😀 and even nicer to be able to share it with you.
