With the eyes of Kandinski (Photographic series "Shadow Dialogues") Con los ojos de Kandinski ( Serie fotográfica "Diálogos de sombra")/ Shadow Hunters Contest SMASh 372 [ENG-ESP]

In my expressive search as a visual artist I have recently started a path within photography. I am interested in finding other possible meanings beyond the merely figurative. Whoever comes to my blog will notice that there is an essential leitmotiv in my work: the work with light and shadow, both magical substances, symbolic guarantor, subtle material.

To establish a discourse from this antinomy is my favorite reason. That is why today I begin this new photographic series with a historicist artistic look, taking inspiration from the work of the great masters of the avant-garde of the twentieth century. As the first piece I propose a reharsal which I have titled With Kandinski's eyes.

The abstraction of the shadows

Like this genius of abstract art I wanted to put the look in that distancing from reality to propose that alternative "pseudo-reality" that is built with shadows and lights, where the compositional resorts to the form that I capture with the lens of the mobile, after experimenting with angles and objects in favor of the two-dimensional projection of a body (in this case the wooden column of a piece of furniture that visually separates spaces in the living room of my house).

Faithful to the abstractionist budget I wanted to privilege the visual sensation, provoking as many associations as possible from the pure existence of the shadow.

The abstraction of the expressive shadow in an improvised way according to the game that I try to achieve helps me to ponder the emotion in the spectator and that he receives that energy, abandons himself to the sensual complicity with the result.

This being so, I would love to continue sharing my work on this series within this community that is already my own home, if you allow me to do so. I ask @melinda010100 to give me her opinion on this.

En mi búsqueda expresiva como artista visual recientemente he iniciado un camino dentro de la fotografía. Me interesa encontrar otros sentidos posibles más allá de lo meramente figurativo. Quien llegue a mi blog podrá percatarse que existe en mi obra un leit motiv esencial: el trabajo con luz y sombra, ambas sustancias mágica, garante simbólico, material sutil.

Establecer un discurso desde esta antinomia es mi razón favorita. Por ello hoy doy comienzo a esta nueva serie fotográfica con una mirada artística historicista, tomando inspiración en la obra de los grandes maestros de las vanguardias del siglo XX. Como primera pieza propongo un estudio al cual he titulado Los ojos de Kandinski

La abstracción de las sombras

Como este genio del arte abstracto he querido poner la mirada en el distanciamiento de la realidad para proponer una "pseudorrealidad" alternativa que se construye con sombras y luces, donde lo compositivo recurre a la forma que capto con el lente del móvil, luego de experimentar con ángulos y objetos en pro de la proyección bidimensional de un cuerpo ( en este caso la columna de madera de un mueble que separa visualmente espacios en la sala de mi casa)

Fiel al presupuesto abstraccionista he querido privilegiar las sensación visual, provocando tantas asociaciones como sea posible desde la existencia pura de la sombra.

La abstracción de la sombra expresiva de manera improvisada según el juego que intento lograr me ayuda a ponderar la emoción en el espectador y que reciba esa energía, se abandone a la sensual complicidad con el resultado.

Siendo así , me encantaría continuar compartiendo mis trabajos sobre esta serie dentro de esta comunidad que ya es mi propia casa, si me lo permiten. Pido a @melinda010100 que me dé su criterio al respecto.
