I admit it, I have a predilection for bees. I find them magnificent creatures. So full of symbolism, associated with hard work and family. Have you ever really stopped to contemplate this wonderful insect? Have you seen it in the middle of its work? Have you noticed how confident and focused it is? Have you noticed its beauty?

Bees are a recurring motif in my recently begun journey as a photographer.
Photographing them in different contexts is very motivating for me. A few days ago, I shared some photographs I took in my neighbor's garden for the PobPhotoContest, where the theme was flowers. But as we know, flowers and bees are very close subjects this time of year, so it was impossible to capture the beauty without the added beauty.

As part of that series, I captured this shots, in which I got an incredible view of that tiny bee. And I also confess that I was surprised by the way the veins of its wings, the small follicles that cover its body, and the particles of pollen clinging to them are visible, as it seems to sink into the purple center of the flower and then seem caressed by the white of the petals that receive it.

Macro photography is simply magical and allows us to see the most incredible details. It is one of the photographic techniques that can bring us the most surprises due to its ability to reveal the smallest realities.

Friends of #PhotoFeed, I hope you were able to enjoy this moment I share with this photograph and that you find it not only beautiful, but also a path to learning through the contemplation of this creature in its natural environment.

Lo reconozco, tengo predilección por las abejas. Me resultan criaturas magníficas. Tan llenas de simbolismo, asociadas a la laboriosidad y a la familia. ¿Se han detenido en realidad a contemplar a este maravilloso insecto? ¿Le han visto en plena faena? ¿Han notado cuan seguras y concentradas son? ¿Han reparado en su belleza?

Las abejas son motivo recurrente en mi recién iniciado camino como fotógrafa. Retratarles en diferentes contextos me resulta muy motivador. Hace pocos días compartí unas fotografías que tomé en el jardín de mi vecina dentro del PobPhotoContest en las que la temática eran las flores, pero como sabemos las flores y las abejas son sujetos muy cercanos en esta temporada del año, así que fue imposible capturar la belleza sin la belleza añadida.

Como parte de esa serie, obtuve esta captura en la que conseguí una increíble visión de esa pequeña abejita. Y también confieso que me sorprendió la manera en la que se perciben las nervaduras de sus alas, los pequeños folículos que cubren su cuerpo y las partículas de polen adheridas a ellos, como parece sumergirse en el centro morado de la flor para luego parecer acariciada por el blanco de los pétalos que le reciben.

La macrofotografía es simplemente mágica y permite que alcancemos a ver los detalles más increíbles. Es una de las vertientes fotográficas que más sorpresas nos puede traer por esa cualidad de descubrirnos las más pequeñas realidades.

Amigos de #PhotoFeed, es mi deseo que hayan podido disfrutar de este momento que comparto con esta fotografía y que les resulte, no solo hermoso, sino un camino al aprendizaje desde la contemplación de esta criatura en su medio natural.
