The GHAWG Diaries, Part 39
What's happening behind the scenes to bring new GHAWG content? The GHAWG Diaries is my recap of what I've been doing.

Introduction
There's more to #GHAWG than just daily zapfic entries and the spreadsheet I use to track them. There's research. There's review. There's also thought and inspiration. Then there are the tools involved in doing any of those tasks.
Just to keep things from getting scrambled in my head, and also to document for myself what I've been considering, I began keeping a diary of my activities as they concern #GHAWG. With posts in the GHAWG, Uninterrupted series on hold at Interlude 3 while Act 7 remains in progress, I decided to share these diary entries with everyone on Hive blockchain.
On Mondays which don't feature a GHAWG, Uninterrupted post-- GHAWG-U-- I'll post diary entries from the previous 7 days or between GHAWG-U posts if the time between them is short. For Part 39, there are 7 days' worth of diary entries. The first entry starts on 2024-July-29.
Before anyone scratches their heads at a few terms, here are 3 I began using many posts ago:

Monday, 2024-July-29
📓 I added 3 entries to the zapfic queue, including one I had composed months ago but had no place for until now. Together, these 3 entries get all the characters involved in a conversation taking place as they have dinner at a local restaurant. The topic is whether Yoda can use Force Lightning. Lindsay Etxeberria and The Twins debate the topic. David Guardia adds his two-cents courtesy of the queued up zapfic entry. Lionel Odunsi, Rhonda Bella Guardia, and Sanjay Rampersad react in various ways. The zapfic entry I had composed long ago ties into this discussion, so I thought it was time to incorporate it into Rat Bike. The big-time fan of Finn himself, Lionel, took it a step further and tied it into The Last Jedi from the sequel trilogy. Unrelated to this sequence of zapfic entries for Rat Bike, Force Ghost Yoda came to learn lessons from a one-time Padawan Learner of his, the long-departed Qui-Gon Jinn (played by Liam Neeson).
Tuesday, 2024-July-30
📓 Most of my on-chain time was spent re-blogging threads and re-threading them, so not much time was left for GHAWG business. I still managed to post the daily zapfic entry, and I published TGD38 before Monday turned into Tuesday. Although there are tourist attractions to be founf along the remaining stretch of Old Route 66, my focus here will be on character development and interaction. I'll incorporate tourist attractions where I can, but I will go for characters over places for a while.
Wednesday, 2024-July-31
📓 Tonight I extended the zapfic queue to 2024-August-09. Felix Legion found lodging for the night, so a number of zapfic entries for Rat Bike will focus on Felix Legion as a group as well as the various subgroups (The Newlyweds, The Twins, and The Kids; Lindsay Etxeberria is with the Brothers Marchenko for now). David is trying to figure out how to earn his daily bread once his Epic Ride ends. Lindsay is looking for a way to make herself useful to The Twins at their business. Sanjay and Lionel have their coursework for UNC. When Felix Legion isn't riding or in motion on the road, their downtime will be used to transition Rat Bike toward Blue Lion. That is, unless a situation presents itself where I can write zapfic entries setting up key scenes for the rest of Rat Bike; then I write like mad.

📓 Apart from the daily zapfic entry, I thought I had GHAWG activity today. It turns out I didn't. I had digital maps of Missouri open, but I hadn't consulted them. I had the go-to web site up for Old Route 66 information; I had not accessed it. I even had the zapfic queue ready to accept entries; I had nothing for the day.For some readon, I thought I did GHAWG work today, but I had not. This realization didn't come to me until the day was nearly done. What was I doing this day? You tell me.

📓 The zapfic queue has been extended to 2024-August-14. These entries are part of a batch which will span one GHAWG day as Felix Legion rides 160 miles in Missouri from Lebanon to St. Louis. Once Felix Legion leaves St. Louis and crosses the Mississipi River, the crew enters Illinois. Once in Illinois, the ride within the 8th and final state which contained Route 66. As the bird flies from the major league cities of St. Louis, Missouri, US and Chicago, Illinois, US, the distance is nearly 265 miles. As measured by the digital map, it's about 297 miles. This means there are 2 or 3 days of riding left before Felix Legion finishes the Old Route 66 portion of David Guardia's Epic Ride. Whether technically on Old Route 66 or beyond it but still in Chicago, the set piece for David to prophesy outside the Obama Presidential Library will close the book on this part of Rat Bike. More character interaction and development will take place to punctuate the 2 or 3 days of riding through Illinois. Travel entries will be included as needed. Unexpected entries are always possible. It could take about one month to publish these zapfic entries at LeoThreads; we'll see how it turns out. The next phase of David's Epic Ride is to escort The Kids back to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During this phase, as I did before the Old Route 66 storyline, I will use what the digital maps give me to inspire more zapfic entries.

📓 Weekly Summary post due today will be published tomorrow. The published entries didn't offer much on which I could comment, so commentary will be a bit light this week. Felix Legion finally reached Joplin, Missouri, US. On it's own, Joplin, Missouri is like any of thousands of other places in the United States. However, Joplin is one of the more notable places in the nation for a number of reasons. For starters, Route 66 ran through it. Also, it's included in the iconic song from songwriter Bobby Troup, "(Get Your Kicks on) Route 66"; at least, it was included in the original lyrics. For some reason, Joplin is named in some versions of the song yet ignored by others. Why this is the case remains a mystery to me.

📓 Today I extended the zapfic queue to 2024-August-15. The previous overnight stay (in the queue) was in Lebanon, Missouri, US, so the next one will take place in the major league city of St. Louis, Missouri, US. I expect to add a few travel entries during this GHAWG day of travel. I also expect to have a few zapfic entries featuring the characters.

This is the normal schedule for the posting of content for #GHAWG:
● Daily -- Each zapfic entry is posted shortly after midnight, from New York
● Weekends -- Weekly Summaries (with modified screen capture from LeoThreads as cover image) are usually on Saturday, sometimes Sunday
● Monday -- Either GHAWG, Uninterrupted if present, or The GHAWG Diaries
● Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday -- GHAWG Behind the Scenes -- The goal is to publish these posts on all days not dedicated to the Weekly Sumamry, GHAWH-U, or The GHAWG Diaries (TGD). There may be days with no post, so I'll minimize those occasions as best as I can.
