At the moment, we are on the decline, similar to where Rome was after Commodus (if not later). It also doesn't help that Rome also had an "imperial" debt problem which wouldn't be solved.

Yeah, the loss of our traditional values is also an indication of where things are going. Same thing happened with Ancient Egypt.

Empires (or equivalents) are guaranteed to fall when they go bankrupt. Along the way cultural virtues yield to vice. No empire escapes that fate at the end. Not the ancients, not the Ottomans, not the British, not the USSR, and not USA.

For starters USG can do 1 of 2 things: be honest about being an empire, or stop acting like an empire. Ideally, USG chooses No.2. If not, it should be like the British Empire & admit it is one. If USG chooses No.1, it has to be proud 2B 1.

USG = US government

It's a shorthand I've seen used in a few places online over the years. Usually I forget the abbreviation exists, but this time I recalled it. At the very least, it comes in handy when you're limited to 240 characters.
