What You achieve and what your become

Being great and being successful I believe has two sides to it. For most people especially in the business sector, it's almost always about what you build, what you establish and how much revenue all of that is making for you.

That is great and all but I have listened to quite a number of successful people mostly in interviews online or on TV and I noticed a trend.

For those that started a business or company and thrived to make the company big, they actually ended up changing or let me say evolving to be able to achieve the great success. I realized that most of even almost all those whole failed in business and quit during the process, didn't not fail in the business in itself but failed to evolve like the successful people did.

I believe who become determines how much success or achievement you attain. In the field of battle, it is the warrior that can adapt the most that has the highest chance of victory.

This has led me to the realization that I need to put more focus on who I'm becoming rather than what I'm making. Because to be able to make, you need to become.

When I watch people like Bill Gates, Elon Musk and even the late Steve Jobs, I not only see their accomplishments like Microsoft, Tesla and Apple, but I see men that have evolved to do the things we see them do. From their leadership skills to how they respond to failure.

Elon Musk for example had a serious drop in stocks of Tesla because of his earlier affiliation with Donald Trump and the effect of the decisions DOGE was making. Did that stop him from releasing new models or continuing with research? No it did not. He decided to step down from DOGE and continued with his vision. That's what it means to handle those bad moments. Yeah, even billionaires have bad moments. There are people who would have ended if what had happened to Elon, happened to them. So clearly, Elon knows a thing or two about disappointments, your back against the war, and all odds against you.

If you want to succeed, you definitely need to evolve and adapt. How do you learn all these traits though? Well they have a saying, Trust the process.

The process to greatness will educate you on all of these things and the only thing you need to do is learn on the job, learn from others and don't quit just because it's getting harder.

True! I think a lot of people don’t do a good job at imagining what kind of person it takes to live a life they’d consider successful. Sometimes it’s hard work, sometimes it’s sacrifice, sometimes it’s just going way outside their comfort zone.

I made YouTube videos for a while not really hoping to be a famous YouTuber. I was hoping to earn a little extra eventually but mostly I wanted to get over my fear of being seen. I feel like this is one of the main differences between people who succeed and people who don’t. They don’t let the uncomfortable parts stop them.

Like you don’t have to cut off relationships with everyone but you might need to cut those who aren’t willing to try and respect the path you are trying to walk down. And you might need to risk being seen as a fool.

Also it’s important to choose a direction that is actually fulfilling to you. If you feel excited about it enough to put in effort, it’s probably the right path. If fear of failure is what motovates you, it might not be.

oh so do true, when you decide to walk down the path you believe you'll certainly be seen by some as a fool. Infact even mocked by them
