When daily life started to feel bland
When I first started capturing the moon, I didn’t realize how pretty this room could be. I could still see the moon from my balcony and I love observing it during different phases. But lately, what truly mesmerized me is that, from where I was sitting, I could see the moon and it shines brightly too.

I wanted to capture the whole scene but there was something about my focus that failed to capture it. So, anyhow they didn’t turn out as I wanted it to be.

The other day, I wanted to move forward with the renovation project. I wanted to turn this room into a bedroom and a place to store my desk. Unfortunately, since I subscribe to feng shui, I found the room isn’t fitting for a bedroom. In fact, there’s almost no space to do it. It’s perfect for a work room but not a bedroom.
So, the other day, I started working on the downstairs room and turned it into my room and a guest room. It was so dusty that I stopped midway because I couldn’t take it anymore. But I made 2% progress that I boxed everything and planned to move them out this week to empty the room and start anew.
A lot of things have been halted for a lot of reasons. You could say, these past few months myself and my family are still adjusting. I found out the things that robs my time and decided to ask for help. Now,I don’t really do most of the mundane things. My mom would cook for me based on the meal plan that I provided. I typically don’t get bored of the same food but now, I am trying to be a lot more conscious with the carbs that I am eating.

Quitting added sugar, is it even possible?
I can tell you as much that quitting sugar is really rough. For the most part, I don’t add white sugar into my drinks anymore or food . However, added sugar is everywhere and it’s the thing that kept me stuck with my weight progress. So, that’s why, I am trying my hardest to even drink americano daily without stevia or anything like that. This is what I eat typically in a day and you can still see, I still eat sugar that comes from my food and I am definitely over the sugar limit that I should be having in a day.
Back in the day I would drink 3 cups of venti starbucks sometimes more, that’s crazy if you think about it. On top of that coffee, I would add pastries and meals throughout the day. Now when I see that stuff and started counting calories, it’s insane 😆
The reason I started simplifying my meals is that my mom can make them and it doesn’t take a lot of time for her either. It’s also a lot easier to see what I eat in a day compared to before where I don’t really track everything and let myself loose.

Working out more than scrolling
One of the recent habits that I picked up is that whenever I find myself scrolling twitter more than 10 minutes, I would start working out. I guess you could say that is to add some spices into my bland daily life. I found this channel growwithjoe to be fun. It’s a home workout ranging from 10-30 minutes that really won’t make you feel like you’re working out. Obviously, her claims are a little click baity but to get you moving, her workout is the best instead of doom scrolling on twitter or other social media.
A lot of my habits have stuck to me and it’s basically the same thing I did a very long time ago. The only difference is that now I have a proper place to do it while in the past, my tiny shack couldn’t really accommodate the majority of the workout movements & that were super demotivating.
I really tried going to the gym consistently but I just don’t like doing things in a crowd and people at the gym can be chatty. So, I find that working out at home is a lot more ideal for me and swimming too- if I want to spice up things in life. Anything that is pretty individualized activities are great for me and that’s why home workout and creating my own home gym is a dream of mine as well.

90 days of something….
So I recently thought about how 90 days seems like a long time but it’s actually only 3 months. A lot of things can happen in 3 months. Personally, these 90 days are the time that I set a goal for and it’s only reasonable for me to say like 3 months because big numbers don’t make sense to my brain. If I were to achieve something, I tell myself that in 3 months from today, I have to accomplish this (insert goal). Funnily enough, while I learned this concept a long time ago, it never clicked up until recently.
Can you imagine if you put some time into the life you wanted to have for the next 90 days, where would you be in life? Will you be smarter? Happier? Lighter?

Oh, I love Jo, I follow her on Youtube and used to do her walking exercise. But right now, I am kinda lazy to do exercise. Whew.
hahahaha I was sooo lazy before too but I am pushing through these days. When I am comparing her workout with Chloe ting, Jo is a whole lot of fun and easier to follow as well
I've heard of Chloe Ting but Jo is indeed easier to follow and everything is just fun, fun, fun.
