It’s like each year, there’s always new designs, models and even viral audio gadgets that are released in the market. For some, staying up-to-date is a necessity but for some it’s more about optionality. While some need it just because others need it to cater their lifestyle. Where I am from, working out, especially running and outdoor activities are the trends. Catering to this lifestyle, people are starting to advertise workout-friendly headphones.

The new models that are selling like cakes are the bone conduction (outer ear) ear phone as well as magnetic neckband earphone. While TWS price starts getting a lot more competitive where you can find inexpensive TWS as low as $5, these neckband earphone and bone conduction prices are still above $7 at the very least. Today, I’ll be reviewing the Thinkplus SH1 Sport Bluetooth Earphone Wirelesss Headset/Handsfree 5.0 from Lenovo.

Thinkplus audio is a Lenovo company that focuses on audio accessories from headphone, headset to even TWS. This SH1 Thinkplus is marketed for sporty individuals who enjoy running, gym and even outdoor activity. The product has a neckband as well as wire that connects the buttons to the earbuds. The neckband is quite firm and it’s guaranteed to make running a lot easier. As one of the most common problems with wearing headphones while running is always falling, it won’t be happening with this SH1 from Thinkplus. As the cherry on top, it has magnetic earplugs which also helps ensure safety of the buds as without it, the earplugs would be just dangling around.

Another notable feature from this neckband earphone is the ergonomic design of its earbud. It fits just right inside the ear. This neckband comes in four different colors. But because dark is always better when it comes to accessories, we ended up choosing black. You can see how it looks like below when it comes to the full look of this earphone.

After a few audio test, the only negative aspect of it is that when listening to music in the highest volume, the sound is coming from the inside and it's not really noise cancelling which is actually fine given it's purpose for sport activities where you might be outside and on the road. It's best to still be able to hear the surrounding rather than going completely silent which is more ideal for work/study purposes. So, this is definitely not really ideal for studying/working from outside but rather for sport activities.
