RE: A Government of the People, Not Necessarily by the People

The US political system and dynamic are something that fascinates me. In fact just last night my partner mention there's a thick fog while he was driving and mentioning there's a theory that the government is testing HAARP. Somehow, we ended up talking about how there's so much distrust from people towards the government and there's this notion that "the government doesn't have our best interest". Coming from eastern hemisphere,we've always been subtly forced to "never question" government and all its policy. So, we always think government has our best interest. Truthfully, that wasn't the case.

And just like you said, it starts young and even within schools.

"The more control a government asserts over books, libraries, schools, newspapers, social media, broadcast media, speech, schools--the more the government is trying to control the message. "

I don't think much has changed in fact it is getting worse with constant silencing left and right over here. But it seems like resistance are happening and with more highly educated population, regardless of economical status, they'll stand up against the tyranny.

At the same time we also have this movement to leave the country, the thing is everywhere in the world is as much as chaotic as ours. So, best be vigilant and contribute in any way we can. Change starts from us 😊

I hope you are right!!

I think in my country we started to really question government in the '60s. Although, throughout our history I guess we have been a rebellious lot, now that I think about it. We insist on owning our guns (not me!) and controlling our town halls. I hope that spirit of independence gets us out of this social/political trough we seem to be in at the moment. People keep threatening to leave, but few do. I guess we're going to have to fix what we have.

Thanks for the feedback. (Had to look up HAARP🙂).

😂Yeah you guys are rebellious lot but it's good because I feel like the rest of the world are living as if we're being pacified. I do love the idea to just fix what we have because right now, leaving isn't really the option, everywhere is pretty much alike and has a problem they've got to fix.
