Morning Light
Sometimes, we find ourselves chasing after happiness in distant places, unaware that true contentment might be closer than we think.
Some people spent their early morning sleeping in.
Others are out the door, racing to work before 7 AM.
Some dedicate their mornings to taking care of their family.
Some seize the early morning for a workout.
And some have their fingers crossed, hoping to make sales.
I was one of those people at different stages of life who thought happiness was just out of reach. But when I started doing a lot of self-reflection, I discovered that contentment can come from the little things.
These small moments of happiness might not make sense to others, but they powerfully remind me that being happy doesn't require expensive luxury. One of the simplest reminders of this is the sun shining beautifully in the sky.
Today, I went out at the usual time, 5-6 AM, when my neighborhood started buzzing. People were going to work, the market, the school, and just working out. I was waiting for the sun to come up because these past few weeks, it has been looking really amazing. It is at the right angle and bathing the sky in beautiful colors.
I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do it. So, I captured these shots and the strangers I get to say HI randomly.
As much as things have been chaotic at home with my dad falling ill again, I find strength and solace in these simple joys of life. I remind myself that I'll do my best and things will be alright again.

Happiness is never out of our reach, if only we find joy in the simple things of lives which are often free. Nature, family and friends. I wish your dad a quick recovery.
It's really the matter of when we can find those joys. I think about it a lot but for me, having to take awesome pictures of the sun like that is a joy in itself. Thank you for checking out, I should be more active this week hehe

As for the reflection you share with us about life, happiness is within each one of us, sometimes we complicate ourselves looking for it outside and the truth is that we build it ourselves, we don't need so much. hehehe I woke up early these couple of days because of those beautiful sun. It's so nice to see them although during the day I'd battle with the heat but it's always worth it. You're right, sometimes we totally complicate things knowing that contentment can be found anywhere and sometimes it's really is just little thing.
I totally agree. Happiness does not require expensive things. Even in simple things we can also be happy. It depends on the choices we made.

Living in life can come from the simplest things. What matters is to be contented and treasure those things..
There's a lot of sayings on that and whenever I feel just slight unhappy, I am looking inwards and seeing these simple things brought me the most joy.

I have had many morning routines in my life, and today I simply enjoy slow mornings just doing whatever I feel doing at that moment 😊 Morning routines didn't seem right for me...

Thank you and hehe honestly I was a night owl until I found that I am happier waking up at 3 AM and sleeping early 😁 It's really hot over here and I love starting something early to avoid the heat and the noise.

hehe yes, I sleep around 8-9 PM and naturally wake up at 3 AM 😂 I know it's hard at first though but doable.
