First of all, have a wonderful and merry celebration. I was tagged by @litguru, who was so thoughtful about sending me 22 Hive and has me in his thoughts. Apparently, Hive Advent was proposed by @bozz. I wanted to return it to him, but I reckon we can’t just do this back and forth :D

I heard of Advent calendars, but I’ve never celebrated them. This is the first year that I’d love to know more about it. The history behind this Advent calendar is pretty fascinating, too. Still, instead of doing the secular custom of the Advent Calendar, I am currently using it to do daily bible scripture. I’ve been feeling incredibly grateful lately, and this year is the year when I was on rock bottom and finally came out of it. So, I’ll use the rest of the year to be grateful for everything and hoping to have more strength to face the following year.

Anyway, I have a few lists in mind, but this year, I wanted to pass the torch to @shanibeer. I trust she’s also in the loop, and I sincerely wish her a happy and festive holiday. I first received 22 Hive from @litguru, and I am passing it along to @shanibeer for 23.I decided not to keep one. Last but not least, added a memo: Hive Advent to it.

The rule is pretty simple: keep on and pass the rest on to the next person. I didn’t keep one, but I just added one. Hopefully, by the end of the advent calendar, it will have found a better use.

Religion doesn't matter. It doesn't even matter if you celebrate Christmas, this is just something fun I wanted to do.

Don't be a dick and keep all the HIVE for yourself. The idea is for you to keep one HIVE and then pass the rest on. Be sure you can trust the person you send this to before you send the HIVE.

Try to wait a day before you send along the remaining HIVE. The idea is that by the time we reach Christmas we are at 1 HIVE left and the last person keeps that. If we blow through all the HIVE before we get to December 5th, that is going to be kind of lame. I mean, if it happens it happens, but let's try to keep it from happening.

When you send the HIVE please put hive advent in the memo field.

I don't want to mess up anyone's posting schedule, but try to write a post about when you send the HIVE. Please use the tag #hiveadvent and try to include these rules in the post so the next person knows what to do.
