Adventure Always Starts From The East

When you start noticing these patterns, it becomes a little predictable and easier. I personally wasn’t really a fan of this theory but just the last few months, I’ve been diving a little into it. Sometimes life has that pattern where you can learn a thing or two from it. There are many benefits just by recognizing this pattern which also increases your overall luck. Among many patterns in my life that I notice, for me it’s adventure starts from the east and today I want to talk about it.

From the last couple of years, that’s how everything started. It starts with a somber sorry as I move from central to the east. Then from the east, I started making dreams, zooming into google maps to check places I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting and started making plans. Sometimes it’s a place I visited as a child but I wanted to feel that nostalgia again when I was roaming wild and free without much care of the world.

I don’t know why but in the east, everything is technically a lot more interconnected. It’s also a lot cheaper to move from the east to reach the nooks and crannies of the country, even overseas. I don’t know why but strangely it works like that.

While I despise being home, these days I don’t know why I increasingly want to go back here. It has everything I wanted. The only reason why I despised it after a while was a lack of privacy that I could have fixed easier. The Key reminded me of that, all it takes really is just the will to do it and just doing it without much thought of consequences.

Strangely, unlike previous years where I had a lot of ideas of where to go and where to visit, this year I wanted to stay. I haven’t been bitten by the travel bug that hard nor wanting to go somewhere with a pretty view. Among a lot of reasons that I want to move around is also hunting pictures. It’s quite interesting how lately, I haven’t found the perfect place that moved me.

Everything I have captured here is the place that moved me personally. It takes a few months of planning, organizing and even thinking. That excitement is what creates stunning pictures and a great mood. The east technically has a lot of unexplored places that are only becoming a lot more accessible compared to the past.

So, do I have travel plans in 2024? Not really but I am still keeping my options open to what might happen with my life and where adventure might take me. Since life is full of unpredictability but also predictability.

I get the hunch that this year, I might have more awesome adventures and life becomes a lot easier. And these days, I committed not to be the same person as I was back in 2023 where I was taught important life lessons throughout my travels. I can only apply for them this year and hope it becomes a better year and time.

While a lot of my adventure somehow begins because of misfortune, there’s really always a silver lining to it. Though almost 2 weeks now, my adoptive dad hasn’t shown any sign of improvement. Instead, he becomes increasingly frail and the treatment hasn’t gone as expected. While me and my mom remain hopeful, we can only hope for the best for him.

At the same time, I also have quite a lot of coffee adventures lately. The coffee that you saw above is spanish latte and dirty matcha. It’s basically a refreshing fizzy drink with matcha. It’s definitely a must try during a scorching hot day and if you are a matcha lover. I also haven’t made any schedule for my coffee posts but really, one of these days I should since it’s nice to have a schedule and have something to look forward to and expect. And so that my posts also have some type of patterns to it 🙂
