As you know, on some days, taking pictures feels effortless—as if the world is quietly posing just for you. Also there seems to be some other days that you don't really care about the rules and just want to operate that shutter over and over again. These pictures don't belong to a particular walk series. But in none of these days I wasn’t looking for cats, but somehow they found their way into every frame I composed. Even one of them, the black one, was deliberately blocking my view every time by sitting in front the camera. Forcing me to take a shot, or it was thinking the camera is some kind of food container :)

I don't complain. Cats have this effortless charm that draws the eye—and the camera. These shots were not planned, but this is one aspect of street photography, no? Observing and being ready for the surprises. I simply followed the light, the shadows, the lines—and the cats followed their own mysterious paths, weaving into my compositions like they belonged there all along.

Time to time I enjoy working with spontaneous elements like these. I don’t direct or interfere. I compose, I watch, and when the moment feels right, I press the shutter. That’s the joy of candid photography. It teaches you to observe more and expect less—to make peace with unpredictability.

These four images feel like a set not because of the subject alone, but because of the way they were found, not forced. The cats were simply being themselves. I was just lucky to be there with a camera in hand.

And as you may have noticed, there is one different shot which includes a man walking where there is another cat walking also in the front of him. I included this picture because on all the other three, cats are sitting, but when there is a companion they move. They really know how to blend into our life.

All the best...

It is also when one seeks to create those images that everything comes out so spontaneously and in such an improvised way but at the same time at the right time for one to make the right images and to create them.
