Where am I heading next?
Hi hi.. good morning, all my wonderful friends.. How are you? Where am I heading?
One of the plans at the moment is to head to the site of the Infamous Kowloon walled city.

The first thing to do is to eat breakfast at the hotel and take a photo of the view. This restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the hotel.

The beautiful view outside the hotel. The best thing to do every day is just to check out the view outside from this floor.

After a nice breakfast, it was time to head to the station. We were exploring Hong Kong. For the last couple of days of arriving here in Hong Kong, we've been exploring Macau and Ocean Park. So, this was the day to explore the different areas in the city.

All the city's Mtr station are neatly labelled so it makes it easy for all of us the passengers to ride on the MTR.

Arrived in Hong Kong. So, one photo in front of this famous station.
All the stations have unique colours. When the doors of the train opens, that's the first thing you see and it is the name of the station.
The passengers here are quite calm and every one spends a bit of time just sitting there minding their own business.

It is clean. Everytime the train arrives at a new station, there is an announcement. The trains here are quite affordable.

Kowloon Walled City is now a park. It was demolished in the year 1995.

This area used to be a place where a lot of lawlessness occurred. There was a movie that was made about the city last year.
So, for me, as long as it is exciting, that's what I am going to definitely be checking out. I love to explore places that are not tourist locations.
From the location where I stayed to this area was far but luckily, the MTRs made it easy.
After that finally, we reached the station known as Sung Wong Toi. This was quite close to the park, but a bit of walking was needed. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes before reaching the Walled city park.
Duplicated artifacts found here displayed at the station.
Can you spot the toothbrush of the ancients? It is in the picture below and row number 3.
The ancient toothbrush. Next to it is the tooth powder container. Above is an opium container. It's amazing to see them in person.
Finally, after a bit of walking, we were here at Kowloon Walled City. That is another post.

It's quite surreal to know that this whole area used to be a small little city with a population of 30,000 to 50,000 residents living in cramped conditions.
Have a great day ahead.
