Luffy hides in the corner and I am unsure what he is doing there in this cafe. He looks happy there. I guess, Luffy is there to brighten the whole place and give it a rather more joyful ambiance. =) Maybe he needs to pose a bit better for photos. Jus joking. Just to brighten your Sunday.

Today, I will take you to a nice cafe in a mall in Miri. I was hungry and headed to the second floor.

Summer Garden

This little cafe in the mall has been here for at least a decade. They have expanded to two shop fronts at the moment. The yellow walls are quite bright and can easily be seen by passing customers.

There are a lot of snacks, noodles, desserts and drinks to choose from.

Some of their signature dishes are on the wall. There are shakes and floats here. Waffles here are good. Quite crispy.

Ordered a Malaysian dish

The Malichai - this is a type of veggie found in Sarawak that is usually stir-fried with eggs. Delicious. The veggies after it is fried is usually quite soft . Mouth watering.

Egg fried rice

Pattaya-style fried rice where the egg wraps the fried rice inside. Usually, you use your spoon and just dig into the rice. Some sliced hot dogs inside. The best way to consume the egg fried rice is when it is still hot and the egg is soft and the aroma is strong and flavourful.

I ordered a plate of Nasi Lemak - Coconut rice

This dish is a Malaysian pride. Most places that serve Nasi Lemak serve really good food. The rice is usually cooked with coconut oil to give it that aromatic smell of coconut oil. Then, there are peanuts inside. Fried. The fried chicken is crispy and the moment you eat this, you'll want another plate.
